i'm very curious as to why these people never made any films. i feel like if I was so intimately connected to these ideas of the cinematic text, i would be driven to explore it beyond a theoretical context, but actually attempt to explore these ideas. not a criticism. the man has some wonderful ideas about cinema. just curious.
