This is one of the best examples of classic Nintendo's creativity... All the other music in this game is very happy, and to step into that pipe and hear something so intense, so different and serious like this makes it clear that the game hit a sharp turning point. That's what's magical about old Nintendo music, in most new games, the final boss music isn't much of a dramatic increase from the normal music due to it all being orchestrated, or rock music. In this game, the final boss music hits you hard in the face - You're not expecting it to sound like this at all! Top the music off with a battle stage in sinister glowing rainbow colors makes this final battle one of the most thrilling in video game history.
I could never beat him. I tried again 5 years later, I still couldn't. My brother tried once, he fucking nailed it and he hasn't been playing for 10 years.
Once, I finally threw Bowser into the last bomb I need to win, but then one of his fire breath things finished me off. I never had beaten him, so you know I cried like a baby.
Bowser caught me off guard when I first saw him all rainbow-like. I thought he was going to be near-invincible. He kinda was, using new moves and taking 3 bombs to kill him. Guess that's what happens when he absorbs a giant star.
SO THAT is why he was rainbow coloured!!! DAMN! Thanks, you just made my day, i have always wondered why he was so big and rainbow-colored. now i realize :P
Legitimately one of the greatest boss battles in a video game. It’s a bit more challenging than other Bowser fights (though that doesn’t say much) but what sets this apart from any boss battle is the presentation. Obviously the music plays a huge part in that, but everything has such an ominous feel to it. Especially with Bowser being RAINBOW because of the giant star in his possession. Just from the buildup to this fight and the way it presents itself, it feels like this is the last time Mario and Bowser are fighting each other; this one is to-the-death. Rarely do you get that feeling from a boss fight. Even more special when it’s between Mario and Bowser, the most iconic rivalry in video games.
When i was young this song was playing when i was sleeping cuz my Brother and my Father played it, they played so mutch that they finished Super Mario 64 in 1 day the are missing this game but its okay because ill get a new one THANKS GOD!
*Koopa Wizard:* "My lord, King Boo has agreed to help us def-" *King Bowser:* "GET OUT YOU IDIOT! I told you, no interrupting me while I'm playing the Organ!"
“Mario! You again! Well that’s just fine - - I’ve been looking for something to fry with my fire breath! Your Star Power is useless against me! Your friends are all trapped within the walls... And you’ll never see the Princess again! Bwa ha ha!”
Throwing Bowser was challenging sometimes, but I think it's neat that you can throw him rather than knocking down a bridge like classic Mario. Also the music is ultimate for Mario's battle with Bowser.
This took me, like, 1 year to beat... JUST BOWSER! I eventually defeated him... ...then my brother deleted my save a few minutes later when it was 'his turn to play'. I cried.
I have the DS version in my backlog of video games and he's not even rainbow colored?! Oh hell no! I'm going to go download the original Mario 64 right now!
As soon as the first note hits, you know Bowser's gonna pay you back for every time you made a fool out of him in the previous games.
Looks like Bowser hired Gannondorf to play the Organ.
+Gaidansugami The Kitsune (Nyra Dragonsoul) LOL! YES!
ik
These toys are too much for you.
Ripper The Reaper Leviathan More like the Final Fantasy VI Opening Screen
Yeah definitely.
When you hear this music...
You know that Bowser has stopped fucking around...
TheBadwolf007 The Paper Mario Bowser final boss theme gives the same vibe.
A organ! Bowser must not be playing around this time!
If I had the time and effort, I can play this song on my church's organ.
It sounds like Forte from Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.
@@Chyken3600yo, so true.

Nintendo have some of the greatest game soundtracks, ever. Mario, Zelda and Metroid are leading examples.
Ahem,
pokemon exists too :)
Kirby too
And Each of em with its own Little way of coming back to slap you somehow
Bro forgot sonic.
@@Galax395 Is that Nintendo now?

You better get your ass back in that mansion and stomp that turtle out. Your credibility depends on it. Go. Go now, for the good of the people.
+poe zick I fucked him up a few months ago. Biggest accomplishment of my life.
+MrAmir man I'm proud as fuck right now. 👏👏
Once, I finally threw Bowser into the last bomb I need to win, but then one of his fire breath things finished me off. I never had beaten him, so you know I cried like a baby.
I beated him when i was 5... x:
That 10 minutes goes by really fast...
The first video game I ever played. Making it here gave me chills all throughout my body.
When Bowser decides to actually give a good fight.
MAN, he was hard in this game!
Bowser caught me off guard when I first saw him all rainbow-like. I thought he was going to be near-invincible. He kinda was, using new moves and taking 3 bombs to kill him. Guess that's what happens when he absorbs a giant star.

i thought he was rainbow colored because the emulator my cousin used to play this game on broke down
Don’t forget he got soap 🧼
"Shit, I think they meant to give this song to the guys at Konami"
"Whatever just use it anyway"
lol
i get chills every time i hear this
rbrads2292 Same here.
SAME
Yes, me too. The music sounds like my girl's beautiful, but haunting smiles. I get more chills whenever she smiles at me, then when I hear the music
Magikarp's theme.
XD btw you're not worthless ;)
The Only Person That Likes Crabominable I like crabominable to
The Only Person That Likes Crabominable ???????????
The legendary Pokemon, Arceus is just a Llama, Magikarp is the real god
No, Ultra Necrozma's
When you've defeated all the legendaries and mythicals, and now you gotta face Ultra Necrozma
Wrong game but love that theme too
This gave me chills as a kid when I first heard this while battling final Bowser. Nostalgia trip.
if ganon's theme from zelda ocarina of time, Andross's theme (When he's a brain :P ) from starfox 64 and the mario theme had a baby
I guess I saw my advantages during the battle and used his power against him. So long gay Bowser!

My sister sometimes jokes that Bowser covered himself in oil and that's why he's all rainbow-y
The day Satan comes out of Hell, you'll hear this music.
Really? All the same to me, mate. xD
For me, thats the best soundtrack of that game!
This makes feel like it would be epic someone making a book about what if Bowser and his army were in real life.
He stole someone's vital organs and played them
the final hit was REALLY hard, I kept grabbing him at the edge and missing because i had to swing very fast to get him to the bomb, but i did it
When Satan arrives,
*Music plays*
Teacher: where’s your homework?
Me: didn’t do it!
*music plays*
XD
It's so funny looking back before emojis become wildly used in comment sections 🤣
It feels so good when you get the last hit and Mario says, "So long, King Bowser!"
*gay its so much more funnier
I always thought it was:
So longay bowser
Cuz he's italian
i tought he said gay because bowser was rainbow
I thought this theme was called "Final Showdown". guess not.
One of the best Bowser themes in The N64 era
Now THIS is a final battle song.
So all those warp pipes are actually a giant organ, good to know.
When i was young this song was playing when i was sleeping cuz my Brother and my Father played it, they played so mutch that they finished Super Mario 64 in 1 day
the are missing this game but its okay because ill get a new one THANKS GOD!
i have no idea why, but when i was little i always called this one vampire bowser. was it the organs? maybe?...i don't know.
When I was a children I always called bowser
1st Bowser level : Baby Bowser
2nd Bowser level :
Son Bowser
3rd Bowser level :
Daddy Bowser
:-D :-D :-D
+Heroy WWE *child
+Heroy WWE lmao
ikr same
It would be cool to see Ludwig Von Koopa playing an Organ whilst you're fighting Bowser.
I can still hear the...
"Pow, pow, pow. Mwuhahahaha!"
... at the start in my head.
so long king bowser :D
Me imagino a ganondorf tocando esto mientras bowser pelea contra Mario xd
"So long, Gay Bowser!" - Mario
oh god this brings back memories...and it still sends chills to me. I still have an N64 along with the game for it...I'm 18 years old.
most indimadating game song besides one winged angel, CHANGE MY MIND.
This and Galaxy 1 final bowser are the best Final Bowsers themes
*Koopa Wizard:* "My lord, King Boo has agreed to help us def-"
*King Bowser:* "GET OUT YOU IDIOT! I told you, no interrupting me while I'm playing the Organ!"
The magic koopas name is kamek
So long gay bowser
I always heard, "So long, gay falcon!" I can't hear anything else! lol
dude hes so dummy bowser alyas fights mario
Gay???
I only heard
"So lo de bowser"
Kwoopa gaming
"So long, *ay* Bowser!"
Long and the ay is what making it sound like that.
Ganondorf played the Piano
“Mario! You again! Well that’s just fine - - I’ve been looking for something to fry with my fire breath! Your Star Power is useless against me! Your friends are all trapped within the walls... And you’ll never see the Princess again! Bwa ha ha!”
I looooove this song! :D
Conseguiste las 120 estrellas y estás con el jefe final apunto de terminar el mejor juego que has jugado
This is the final boss music for Nathaniel Bandy's Favourite game
Throwing Bowser was challenging sometimes, but I think it's neat that you can throw him rather than knocking down a bridge like classic Mario. Also the music is ultimate for Mario's battle with Bowser.
When you enter math class and you gotta take the final exam.
Press any number key on your keyboard to play the SPOOKY chord
Bowser and Ganon[dorf] both my favorite villains.
Both have great organ skills
"Yo Ganondorf, can you make me a fire track for my fight with Mario?"
When you hear this he is gonna fuck you up and make you pay for what you did to him beating him when he tries his hardest to stop mario
This final bowser music gives me the creeps, it sounds scary
Not many people know this, but for the making of this song, Koji Kondo had the help of Ganondorf who played the organs.
Still gives me chilles whenever i listen to it
When I first played this..., I was mad salty at first, then I continued and I was bars when I kept on bombing him!
haha wtf?
Hey..., It's just that I had to blow him up multiple times! I can't help that I tend to confuse what I'm saying at most times! XD
Why was I expecting to hear Bowser's stomps xD
Super Mario 64: "So long, King Bowser!"
Super Mario 64 DS and Super Mario 3D All Stars: "Buh bye!"
This theme is also used in pokemon oras in the sky pillar
Bowser must've been hitting those special kinds of Shroobs to get that tasteful rainbow pattern.
Bowser definitely was the hardest boss of all time...
Bowsers stomps makes this 10 times more ominous
this is beautiful :D
1:05
Power's all that I can gain
But I cannot explain
I can't resist this pain
But I'll stay in the rain.
When u beat every boss in smash bros and u accidentally revive giga bowser and give him super powers
Mario:Oh Fu-
Lol
Greatest boss battle theme ever created
This took me, like, 1 year to beat... JUST BOWSER! I eventually defeated him...
...then my brother deleted my save a few minutes later when it was 'his turn to play'. I cried.
From Nintendo ninjas pls don't copyright this
When you have math class
Put at speed 1.5... It's even more epic!
+Supergogeta Tenerife Agreed!
Movie Mario vs Movie Bowser be like...
love this song
"So long, King Bowser!"
Sounds like the beginning of Mr. Crowley lol
If I had a hearse this would be the only song I would ever play
Both Bowser and Ganondorf learned to play the piano from Koji Kondo
The Death and Dismay Demon Lord of the world.
When I was a kid I didn't like this theme, now I love it... I don't know why. I supposse I'm not the only one
Oh. I only saw that once. I don't remember hearing this song there.
Feels like I'm/was near to the death...
天空のたたかいと言えばクッパとピーチの絵が分かれているらしい
They should have put this in mario oddyse
So longer Bowsahhh !! hahaha good times
I have the DS version in my backlog of video games and he's not even rainbow colored?! Oh hell no! I'm going to go download the original Mario 64 right now!
con sólo escucharla me recuerda cuando lo jugaba .... lástima que ya no lo voy a poder jugar más :'v
Marcos Saucedo Rosas yo tampoco
Rayquaza bowser called he wants his organs back!
Bowser! Gannon called! He wanted his church organ back!
+Porkins Prime it would be better if they made the final battle of legend of zalda like this
The final battle music.
This reminds me of something maybe Mozart could have written back when
Actually more like Johann Sebastian Bach. Toccata and Fugue in D Minor comes to mind.
Bet Sony can't make a better final Boss theme than this.
Play this in my Funeral
AHHH the good old days.
I don't know why, but this theme smells a little of Mardek RPG. And that name's not gonna mean a damn thing to a massive chunk of the Internet.
This song scared me in my childhood
Has a "dancing mad" ff6 feel about it
Composed by Ludwig von koopa and played by Ganondorth
ITS DA SPOOKY MONTH!!!!!!
This sounds like a freaking horror movie! at least that's what me and my brother thought
