current working on 2 ct90s FYI in side clutch there a oil slinger and yes there is an oil pump driven by ca chain good luck
You’re right there is a pump!
Had a decent oil leak in the same spot on a 78 I picked up that had been sitting about 30 years. Bought a top end gasket set and figured id put fresh rings in as well. Glad I did because the top ring was partially seized and allowing blow by. Cylinder wall was spotless and valves were sealing well. Still dont know if it was the stud oil gasket or the cam chain gasket but it hasnt leaked a drop and is almost 140 Compression. Fun little bikes.

Your CT is beautiful! Did you restore it or is it original paint and plastics?
I inherited it from my dad in 2019 and kept it original at first. It had a lot of flaws in the paint and I wanted it to reflect how it felt to ride. Last winter, before this channel launched, I stripped it to zero and had it powder coated in the closest Scarlett Red I could find. The rest is all elbow grease. That's where she got her name Patina. I spent hours cleaning patina off parts.....
Did you try just torque the head to factory specs to see it it stops leaking?
I actually tightened it past spec hoping.....but the 53 year old rubber boot was flat as a pancake. Nothing to squeeze against.
where do you get your gaskets from im rebuilding my ct90 and i need the whole gasket kit for the engine
