This is actually for everyone because we always need only KILL clips or shooting clips or just aiming down the sight footage.This is way better than searching few seconds of action in 15,20min long clip.
Well everyone but youtubers like I said. I wouldn't get the use out if it but most people would be happy with it. For me I sync all my cameras up when editing so searching for kills is easy anyway. If I had to sync up loafs of shirt clips that woukd take way nice time then just one long video file.
I chopped up my old Dashcam and set it up to run via USB tether to a power bank. I use the Emergency Record button to record my previous 5/3/2/1 minutes of gameplay while it continues to record everything else as well. Bit of chopping and 3D Printing and it works great.
Cam-man did a very good review, you should check that out. I personally after watching his wouldn't get one. The test you missed out is durability. On his test he shot it and the case cracked.

If only it was able to capture either 16:9 or 9:16 (depending on the settings you'd put in through the app) it would be such a nifty little cam for the average player, utilizing either portrait or landscape playback modes depending on your personal preference
best to get a DRIFT camera and use the remote control... there's a lot of different settings and you can get spare batteries or just run with a usb cable to a power bank... and the design is similar
It's pretty much shadowplay but instead of video games it's airsoft. I saw airsoft camman take this cam apart and add a 64gb ssd but it is like the anti fog unit gen 1 where the plastic will break if shot and you will need extra lens protectors.
The only thing is the case cracked at 2.3 joule from 4 meters range. Most minimum engagement distance for that power are 20m. So id say at 20m I doubt it would have the power to crack the case.
Its an interesting concept. Remembering to press the button AFTER the action would be tough for me, I sometimes forget to turn my run cam helmet camera as is! I also dislike the marketing term of "cheater". It has become used it videos and I think it gives off a bad impression to the wider audience and gives providence that cheating is common in airsoft.
They should add the feature to creat your own lenght of clips. I could imagine that the 14sec clip was to short for that full squad whipe. I am still Thinking of getting one tho. I record all my video's on cellphone. +Side is the small clips. Easy to edit on phone. Not sure if scopecam has a own app where you can edit?
Can you make video for comparing all 3 cams including HITCAM 4k, because after seeing your review, i felt the Nov cam is very outdated. Its cheap but for another 20 u get 4k.
Could you please clarify if it is possible to save 4 clips in a row? I mean, if I need to save last 1 minute - can I push the button 4 times with 16 sec pause to save the last minute?
If I hit 4 people within the last 32 seconds(1 hit per 8 sec), can I save only the first 16 seconds, and the last 16 seconds will be lost (2 hits is lost)?
If you press the button after 17 seconds have passed you will lose the footage. But if you just keep pressing the button everytime you hit someone you will capture everything. So thr main this is keep pressing the button after each kill if you want to be sure not to miss anything
hey i am looking to start recording and uploading videos about airsoft. Any pointers would be very much appreciated! i was planning on running a gopro hero 10 for my helmet cam and either the nov clip cam or the runcam 2 4k
@FOXGREEN I see thanks for the reply. I am trying to seriously start uploading gameplay videos so I will go for the runcam 2 4k like you recommended. When you say record at 2.7k 60fps I assume you mean both the gopro and runcam for easy edits?
Yes that is the best over all for all your cameras to record as as you can do slow-motion and thr quality is very good resolution wise so you can even zoom in a little if needed and it looks good still

Should come with flashback cable like the scopecam as they do the same thing just can do it with cqb and sniper distances also

Novritsch site says it will survive a point blank shot at 1.5 joules.

It's a shame that the cam doesn't have a cable with a small switch and you therefore always have to press the front button.
Yes, that's a good point that would be nice. Runcam has that. Maybe that add on coukd come.
There is a ClipCam Pressure Pad on the website that uses the USB-C port. Would have been better if it had been already included.

Yes that is correct it only records for a few seconds with each click.

I have done reviews on all the other cameras before. But ya this camera isn't the same as normal scope cameras nor is it really meant to be

No its one clip at a time so you cannot press loads to go back even further.
Do you need to carry your phone with you or leave it in save zone when recording
No you don't need your phone at all. You just use it if you want to download footage through WiFi to you phone or to check battery and storage space 🙂

campare these 2 all with 1080p . but not 1080p on nov cam and 4k on runcam. could this be better? just asking
Personally it could be better. But the image quality is still good. I just wish they upped it to 2.7k at least

If you want to get into recording seriously get the runcam 2 4k man and record all cameras o 2.7k 60 fps it's best for airsoft really 👌
