It seems that the lunge is super good, but the ability is meh (it's literally a worse Hag teleport by being super visible and very slow to do the teleporting). However, that lunge is SO good that the teleport is more of a supplementary endgame option rather than a power to be used throughout the match.
With the portals they’re really good to place around corners from hens and inside buildings because when you come out you have no terror radius so you can just teleport and run around the corner before they know what’s hit them. And putting them in buildings just means you don’t have to vault in a chase :)

He is extremely powerful in endgame and unless survivor has a key for the hatch it is almost impossible to win endgame against him when hatch is closed. Perk Build Recommendations: 1) Ruin, Monitor, Enduring, and Spirit Fury (mainly Demi plays like an M1 killer which means eating a ton of pallets + monitor to sneak up on survivors which is strong on the new map which is an enclosed map w/ tons of corridors) 2) Ruin, Surge (new perk), Surveillance, and BBQ & Chili (Surge is like a LIDL Pop Goes the Weasel but it regresses all generators within a certain radius (idk the exact distance) w/ a 60s cooldown but it can save you time manually kicking a gen + surveillance synergizes w/ surge so you can see if survivors return to that recently regressed gen, and BBQ for points and to see far survivors which is also complements w/ Demi's portals).
His surge isn't supposed to work with Surveillance, Pop or any other perk that applies on hitting gens, though. But PTB messed it up and it combo wombos with those perks. So until it gets out of PTB, that is a solid perk build.
