Okay, let’s try again! Hopefully the brightness has been resolved and over exposure has now been turned down by going into advanced settings on the editing software! Fingers crossed this is better, let me know! 😊😅
Looks ok on a small phone screen. Not so on a 4K HDR monitor. Am I right that you use an iPhone? If so, apparat from shooting RAW there's not much you can do about their photo and video processing. Apple has very characteristically unnatural style of processing.
You mention the noise of the fridge unit that might trouble some people but I find that the mind can easily blank out such possible disturbances. In my years working at sea in an environment with all sorts of machinery starting and stopping throughout the day and night, plus ship movement, I never had any difficulty sleeping but there again I was generally knackered after working anyway.
I absolutely hate the cinema mode you record with your phone. I like to see a clear background behind you. So frustrating view since day one of recording it. Hope this helps :)
I can tell you exactly how it feels when this kind of accident occurs. Happened to me 30+ years ago on the M6. Foreign lorry driver fell asleep and hit me from behind then spun my car in front of his cab. A guy behind the accident said he didn't brake for nearly 3/4 mile. Something a traffic cop confirmed later from the tyre marks from my car across all three lanes from the top of the hill before Corley services. Said it was the longest tyre marks he'd ever seen. Took a while to understand why there was a lorry trying to get into the passenger seat and tarmac screaming past the drivers window. When I finally worked out what was happening, I thought that was it. Good night. We stopped in the entrance to the services. No idea how we managed to not collect any more vehicles on the way. Witnesses didn't expect me to get out. I didn't expect to get out. Unbelievably all I had was a broken bone in my wrist. My car was what you might call a bit of a mess. The lorry driver was charged but never returned to this country. I walked away (and now have a healthy respect for HGVs around me). The quality of the video is of little consequence. Don't fret over it. It isn't important!
As a TV broadcasting technician with 50 years experience of vision control/colour grading before I retired, I have to say (in my opinion) that I do not think that video mode does anything for your channel. I also enjoy watching to get the experiance of the surroundings as well, and the bokeh effect does that no favours. Won't stop we watching and enjoying your content, of course. Cheers, Fred from New Zealand.
Hi Luke, my first ever comment lol, but had to tell you this. With regard to that accident, I witnessed a similar thing many years ago on the M6 heading North, I was in lane 2 overtaking a HGV and the car in front of me pulled back into lane 1 right in front of the lorry. I don't know what he was thinking as he clipped the front offside corner of the cab, got spun around and got pushed down the road until the truck driver could bring it to a controlled stop. Totally the car driver's fault on that occaision. I also stopped and helped as much as I could with statement etc, the poor truck driver was really shaken by it. I have also got to say I am not a truck driver, but have the upmost respect for you guys, I have had a go in one with a flatbed on the back on private ground and it is not easy lol. I have a mate who always complains that you guys are always in the wrong lane at roundabouts or tight junctions etc. and I try to explain to him that you got one hell of a length behind you and need the room to get that swing around, but he just don't get it, guess you got to try it to appreciate. Anyway, stay safe Luke and keep up the good work, love the videos and hope to see you on the road one day, I am in Newport South Wales, cheers buddy
Sometimes the places you have to deliver to are crazy , like the farm , in the middle of nowhere , where the approach roads are absolutely not meant for class 1's , the owners of these businesses don't think about the delivery drivers when they order deliveries , I only drove the baby trucks ( 7.5t) and some of the places I had to go were ridiculously tight , places around Huddersfield are particularly nasty , very narrow tight bends and steep hills , even for a baby truck
Thanks for another excellent video Luke, but not keen on the pink lipstick, perhaps a couple of shades darker would suit you more! 😂 Keep up the good work and keep safe! 🙂👍🚛
Done quite a few deliveries to the Trumpers Lane job. It's quite common for them to forget you're out there! Some of their other yards aren't a lot better.
I prefer your videos without cinematic mode. It's part of the experience seeing the places you visit, and a lot of that is lost when the background is out of focus
Good idea to keep the straps in one side locker and the stretchers in the other side locker instead of together. Good organisational skills. You'll make a good trucker one day.
@@lukecinahgv I was of course only joking. But drivers can learn more by watching you than some drivers CPC training course. Tried to pull up a tipper yesterday on the M32, he'd got some rubble stuck between the twin wheels but it must've broke free and nearly damaged some overtaking cars. I keep well back from tippers. Driver must've realised something was up and pulled over onto the hard shoulder. I told him what happened and was lucky no damage done recounting that I used to be a tipper driver about 40 years ago having had bit happen to me. I still miss the camaraderie and fun being part of the gang, the old saying, "We never made a lot of money but we had a laugh". Keep safe.
Not a fan of the cinematic mode. As much as we love to look at you, if you're blurring the background, you might as well do all the commentary from the cab. Love the content though.

Yeah, that was a rendering issue for the lipstick. I don’t wear lipstick at work I saved up for the weekend. 😂 anyway, thank you for appreciating the footage at the start! I thought it would mean, nobody would say it was Clickbait or anything

Great video Luke PS i have a clocking going back question if you are driving when the clocks go forward or back how does the tacco know what is happening. Do you just do a manual entry
Is iveco like the DAF on the gearbox, always trying to be in the highest gear possible. DAF is a pain in the arse trying to down shift and keep it in a decent gear. Always look left and right 😂 Cinematic mode 👍
That LGV steering wheel attendant shouldn't have been in lane 3, there was no emergency cause for him to be there, Always look for cause not effect. I am an ex-steering wheel attendant myself
I have to agree with many others that the cinema mode is not good viewing. Colours are blown out and the change in focus is painful to the eyes. In regards to waiting to be loaded/tipped so often, it would be good if there was a financial penalty to either the sender or receiver if the delivery is made to wait after maybe 30mins or 1hr (it would depend on the number of deliveries I guess) as this might make some locations think a bit harder before making you wait so long. What happened to the continuation of the trip to Devon, you said you would film more the next day.
Admittedly you rarely if ever see farm workers wearing HiViz clothing however bearing in mind that there are a fair number of accidents on farms involving machinery coming into contact with people I believe there is no reason not to.
Hi Luke, I have always looked both ways before crossing railway crossings. Seems like the logical thing to do. It must work because I have never been hit by a train.😁 Another enjoyable video although I am not a fan of the new cinematic format.
Whilst I like the cinematic mode in principle, I don’t think it works for your type of content, as in many scenes the background is important to the storytelling and you are pointing at things which are blurred out. So my personal vote would be to not use it going forward.😊
You said 45% to 55% in favour. Not from what I'm reading. Seems clear to me, it's a no. Sometimes change, for the sake of it doesn't work. Don't try to fix something which isn't broken.
PPE, really not needed during day time, people on the street don't wear PPE and some how avoid being hit, most of the time, although if that women in that car was wearing a hi viz maybe that accident would never have happened. hi viz clothes have magic powers.
What was the lorry driver doing in lane 3 in the first place Luke? To be fair though yes the driver messed up but when they moved over the car was probably in their blind spot as you know. Glad all were okay though.
Cinematic mode outside is good but in the cab the saturation/colour grading in the cab seems to be too high. It was funny at the end, seems like you were getting the wind up with the increase in music volume.
Just a quick question luke 5:03 it says on a sign phone crossing if your in a large/slow vehicle. Does that imply to HGVs like yourself when delivering to a site

I Think you're better off not using this mode on your camera, it just does not look right
Must admit, I totally prefer the old way. I'm actually going dizzy as it goes in and out of focus al the time. Must get my migraine pills out😂😂
The traffic on a Motorway has priority over joining vehicles
