FIRST!!! Just seen this on amazon after the grit gaurd bucket thing disappeared and I desperately looked for an alternative. That thing has been on my wish list for over a year because it seemed too expensive and looked like it would damage the pad (and maybe my polisher), so I never pulled the trigger, It might have been divine intervention (god loves shiny cars). If I'm being honest this still seems a tad expensive for what it is, but, at roughly half the price and the fact I can use the insert independently makes it very appealing. I hate washing pads by hand and this might be just what I need. Does this just fit into a 5 gallon bucket??

Hey! Yes our Dirt Lock bucket filter and pad washing system will fit in nearly every single 3-8 gallon standard round wash buckets! Our Dirt Lock has flexible tension adjusting locking tabs that will conform for the perfect fit inside your bucket. :)
