  • Hi Young Farmers,
We’re thrilled to announce our UA-cam Interview, featuring a panel discussion between our young farmer Hlobisile Yende and industry specialists.
‘At 28 years old and 1.6 metres tall, with long red nails, Hlobisile is not your average farmer. In a profession often seen as poorly paid dirty work, she stands as an example that managing a successful farm can be a career for a young black woman. Not content with that, she is now studying for her master's in criminology, dreaming of one day being known as ‘Dr Farmer’. - The Actionists
First, we have Janine Ryan, the editor of Farmer’s Weekly magazine. Since 1911, Farmer’s Weekly has been serving the agricultural community. This agricultural business magazine, based in South Africa, targets the entire Southern African region. The brand is dedicated to advancing the interests of the region’s farmers and the agricultural industry by acting as a voice for the industry and keeping readers informed of the latest developments.
We also have Armand Jacobs, the Sales Executive for Agnovate.
Agnovate builds and offers new generation crop production insurance products, covering various role players in the agricultural supply chain, including primary producers and business clients such as financiers, input providers, processors, storage facilities, and more.
Insurance for farmers may seem like a taboo topic at times, but let’s be open to learning why it is a crucial factor in any farming business.
