Love how Ms. De la Cruz gave the 2 options of either prepare nails for another set and how to set it off if the client wouldnt want to apply anymore nails💞💕love love your educational team
I would love to see more nail art on natural nails versus gel or acrylic. I have reactions from over exposure to nail products. I can only use regular nail polish and would love to see nail art on natural nails. Thank you
You guys read my mind, I needed this video been had on my press ons for 2 weeks now and I want to do a new design using your stilettos press on’s. Thank you this was very helpful 😁
This is exactly the video I needed!!!! When I soak them off, first it takes forever and it becomes all gooey and starts to harden once they are out of the acetone. But filing off the majority before hand and then soaking for 5 min is amazing!! You guys have the best content and I feel like you read my mind. Thank you thank you thank you 🌷🌹🌷🌹😍😍
Have you guys ever looked into acry-gel or polygel for a product line? I have seen a lot of companies hop in on the trend and have tried them myself, would love to have your thoughts on it!!
hi I'm just wondering that if a customer doesn't have an e-file what would they do? I have been wearing Full cover tips for a long while now and to remove them when applied with glue I apply cuticle oil generously, let sit then soak in warm water to reapply if still in good condition. or melt them off using generous amount of cuticle oil then soak in a bowl of acetone slightly warmed under the bowl. If they are gelled on then I would have to use an e-file. Hope this helps as always I totally love your videos they are very cool and informative love you guys xx
You would cut down and file and much as you can and then you could continue to remove all of with with the e-file or you can soak the last thin layer of acrylic off.
When doing any kind of manicure/nail service, we only recommend clipping cuticle as necessary. If there are hangnails, those should be trimmed, but we do not recommend clipping healthy or live tissue. When you open up the live tissue by clipping, this can lead to infections or allergic reactions.
Hi, what do you do if your wearing nail tips under acrylic overlay that have grown out and you want to redo your nails but you don't want to shorten them and get rid of the tip. Can you remove the acrylic and apply another tip over the old one?
It sounds like you just want to change how the nails look topically so then you would remove what ever gel polish, design, etc is on top of the acrylic and shape them however you want and prep for applying more gel polish or design on top. You don't have to shorten the nails if you don't want to as you can have them be the length you desire. If they need to be filled then you would fill them with more acrylic before applying the designs/gel polish.
@YoungNailsInc hello, first of all thank you so much for replying to my comment no other UA-cam channels have. Apologies for the confusion, I know what your saying but I ment this. I like very short nails so I put tips on them with acrylic over the top and they have now grown out to the point where the tip is no longer attached to apart of the nail that's on the nail plate it's grown out. But I don't want to shorten them so therefore the old tips will stay on, so I was just wondering if I drilled off as much acrylic as I could and just left a thin layer over the old tip could I then put on another tip and then apply more acrylic or should you just apply more acrylic with no new tip. I'm just worried that by not applying a new tip the old one would snap or break off real easy because it's no longer attached to the nail plate anymore.
@@keesimeehan1357 The tip as it grows out is still attached to your nail. If you are wanting to shorten it and apply a new tip you need to remove all the product before applying a new one. You could also shorten the nail and the tip wouldn't be there any more but your natural nail has grown out and then you can just apply the acrylic on the natural nail as an overlay.
Hey nice VIDOES. I’m new to this. I’m a man. But I’m vert interested in this due to suffering from a scratching condition which effects millions around the world. Many people have been able to fight there scratching addition via using acrylic nails. I’m using some atm and they are proving to be very useful in not breaking my skin. Is there a fake nail which has a completely soft feel over the skin? Could you please explore the different type of nails they are on the market which help people with eczema and compulsive scratching conditions.
A great option for you might be our ManiQ soft gel or Fiber Gel. These are both soft gel products and are designed to work over the natural nail to give added flexibility and durability to the nail. They will also give you a smoother free edge, which may help with the scratching.
Are they soaking your nails to remove the gel polish? If so, this is one technique that some techs use to dissolve the gel polish, but it can be very drying on the skin and nails. A better option (but still can dry the skin and nails) is to wrap the nail with cotton and acetone in foil.
If you build your nails with hard gel (Synergy Gel) and use a hard gel top coat (Stain Resistant Top Coat), acetone won't affect them as these products are non porous and acetone can't dissolve them.
@@youngnailsinc thanks. What about the Ibd hard gel or the build a nail gel?? I started out loving to dip my nails but the last 2 months I've been buying acrylic and gel products and even a touch of acetone starts to eat my nail away when practicing on my training Hand. I LOVE experimenting and learning from mistakes but I would love a tip before hand if it's available 😂😂😂
@@katasue2633 Unfortunately, we can't speak on other products as we don't test them. You would need to contact that company and ask if their product is a hard gel or soft gel. If it's a product that can be soaked off then yes, acetone coming in contact over and over again could mess up your nails.
Is there a reason for removing the nail, or making it short before re applying? I just got my first set of full cover, used gel to glue them to my nails, but I didn't remove my long natural nail before doing so. I thought the nail length of my natural nail would help them stay on lol. Now I'm looking at how to remove and starting to panic a little LOL
When you apply tips (half/partial well or full coverage) it's best to clip down the natural nail to get the tip to fit as snugly as possible. Sometimes when you have a lot of free edge, the natural nail can curve differently than the tip and won't adhere as well to the c-curve of the tip.
@@youngnailsinc thank you so much for the reply! I will clip my nails for future sets, seeing as the only part that lifted was indeed the part on my nail tips! 💛💛💛💛
@@youngnailsinc When I remove my tips using an efile, can I then go into dipping my nails? I do have your Swipe and Rose Oil. S Sorry I asked this way. I could not find a way to ask independently.
If you are comfortable with your efile, you can use the medium arbor band to continue to remove the remaining product. However, you need to make sure you aren't repeatedly filing over the natural nail causing damage. Soaking with acetone for extended periods of time or frequently can cause excessive dryness and brittleness to the nail, but since the majority of the product has been removed, you will only be soaking for a short time. Make sure to re-hydrate with cuticle oil after the service.
I totally get it! They are trending right now. The cool thing is there’s many different forms of artificial announcements. I don’t use them in salon ever. But I do use them for photo shoots and run away. They’re awesome to work with and those cases for me!! 😉♥️✨

You didn't happen to have a nail drill ordered did you? They are obviously holding certain orders back because of an item. We ordered 2 weeks ago, 10 minutes into the sale. Close to 500 bucks. No YN, I dont want a refund. Please don't offer it again.
No, they have never said their tips were gel and I don't see it on the packaging. I have all of them and they are just regular plastic tips but just full coverage.
Do an overlay. You can use a thin layer of acrylic (dip too),gel or polygel. Cuticle oil and vitamins will help also. Never use anything super abrasive on your natural nail. If you're doing your own acrylics you only need to slightly etch the nail plate, basically just getting the shine off
You don't have to use an e-file to remove. You can remove by soaking in acetone, but you want to rough the surface up with a hand file first. Also, soaking it off will take longer. We prefer using an e-file because it is faster, but also repeated soaking can lead to brittle nails over time.

Omg Melissa, what are you wearing on your nails? That grey with the pinkish-golden sheen is GORGEOUS! 😍

what about if you want to reuse the press ons? oil, soak, and patience?
If you want to reuse them you might as well wear that double-sided adhesion.

Glue tabs better than nail glue?
Glue tabs are more for short term wear and glue is more long-term.
I need to buy the drilling tools, can you please recommend which ones should I buy and where? Thank you
