I save my older wigs specifically for overnight/overseas flights, gardening, beach. I have also taken off my wig mid flight and put on a knit beanie. I keep my bio hair in a buzz cut, so always wear some kind of head covering.

I usually travel with 3 wigs: an old Jett for the plane, a new Jett and a bob or lob. I take 2 wire wig stands, hairspray, wig wax, and dry shampoo (to spray the inside of my wig if it got sweaty and I don’t have time to wash it). My travel companion takes a hour to get her hair ready to leave the hotel. I’m ready in 2 minutes. Since we usually are burning the candle at both ends, I love having an extra 30-40mins of sleep!

During summer I do Advance French, in winter Vista. I have a tendency to put my head back on the head rest in the car. It ruins the back of my wigs. I try not to do it now, but then forget. Any suggestions?
