Christians don't force people to convert. They do missionary work. Islam doesn't force people to convert. They do dawa. Maybe we are mixing up military campaigns by people who say they are Christians and Muslims? Nearly all Buddhist countries have national armies- and you will probably find violent men like the Buddhist Samurai of Japan, the Emperors of China and Japan, Cambodia etc involved in wars like Christians and Muslims.
The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description.

I read that it's not forever but it'll last about 12000 years since Gautama Buddha's death. There are 3 time periods from Buddha's death to 1000 years after. From 1000 years after to 2000 years after. From 2000 to 12000 years after. Within the 1st period many become enlightened, the 2nd period much less become enlightened. 3rd period which we are in right now, very few become enlightened, virtually none because the world is more chaotic with much more distractions and interpretations are much less accurate, and that Pureland Buddhism will save many in the third period because it's easiest to practice and with Amida's name recited we wish to for rebirth in pureland where conditions are right for practices to be done to realize full enlightenment. But then i also heard of teachings that will say when all buddhist scriptures are lost after 12000 years, another Buddha might be born to start the Dharma wheel again with the teachings.

Guys don't care about those who sh*t in comments who belive in mythical gods. By birth I was a christian. But I unlike brainless restrict guys I had two well educated smart parents. So they let me do whatever I want. They never forced me to believe in what they believed. They gave me enough freedom to discover the world. So after became a teenager I discovered some quotes by Buddha. I was curious af. So I investigated more and more about Buddhist vision. Each and every time I research, I was attracted by it. Now I'm a follower of Buddhist vision. Not only me, but I also taught buddhist concepts to my mom and dad. Now they believe in Buddha too. This ain't no religion. This is the science. People compare science with Buddhism. But Buddhism is far ahead. Things lord buddha said 2000 years ago, are even better than new discoveries. I love learning about Buddhism and I made a video on one of the 3 marks of existence in Buddhism know as imperminance which is to say that nothing in life is permanent, not your job, your emotions or even the very elements that make up life. It's all a constant dance that we should be aware of and not instinctively react to. Be aware of imperminance on a permanent basis, ha! Be the silent witnessing presence in the here and now. Meditation and present moment awareness/mindfulness has greatly helped me with anxiety and depression and I hope to spread the word of what I've learned. Great video! :)

It’s like when you strike a match: the fire that is produced by the match will consume the match. When you practice looking deeply and you find the insight of impermanence, then the insight of permanence will burn away that notion of impermanence.That is what is very wonderful about the teaching of nonattachment to view. Non-self can be a view, impermanence might be a view, and if you are caught in a view, you are not really free. The ultimate has no view. That is why nirvana is the extinction of all views, because views can bring unhappiness-even the views of nirvana, impermanence, and no-self-if we fight each other over these views. The ultimate is not something separated from the phenomena. If you touch the ultimate, you touch also the phenomena. And if you touch deeply the phenomena, you touch also the ultimate. It is like a wave. You can see the beginning and the end of a wave. Coming up, it goes down. The wave can be smaller or bigger, or higher or lower. But a wave is at the same time the water. A wave can live her life as a wave, of course, but it is possible for a wave to live the life of a wave and the life of water at the same time. If she can bend down and touch the water in her, she loses all her fear. Beginning, ending, coming up, going down-these don’t make her afraid anymore, because she realizes she’s water. So there are two dimensions in the wave. The historical dimension is coming up and going down. But in the ultimate dimension of water, there is no up, no down, no being, no nonbeing. The two dimensions are together and when you touch one dimension deeply enough, you touch the other dimension. There’s no separation at all between the two dimensions. Everything is skillful means in order to help you touch the ultimate.....

Accourding to Buddhism there are five primary elements which change the form. Main 5 directions made 5 elements. 1.) Empty Space (Akasha Dathu) is moving outside. So that is why we can go to heavens (impermanent heavens). So Buddha said about the moving Space. 2.) Solids (Patavi Dathu) are going inside. If we don't remove attachments and bad habits then it can take us to hell. But we can stop it using the next 3 elements, because the Solids are atoms, and atoms are protons, neutrons and electrons. Scientists discovered that a proton is a combination of 3 'quarks'. Those three quarks are three directions. There are 4 directions (like a cross), but the Empty Space came from inside it with an opposite Space (Mass) from another dimension and then the 4 directions converted to 1 direction inside and unbalanced 3 directions which made protons. It happens between Nulll (.) and Zero (0). If we remove attachment from these three elements 'Water', 'Heat', 'Gases' of our atoms, using meditation and letting it go from our mind, then it can erase our position from the entire universe, because atoms are connected to the Universe, and those three things will move away from the center and then it can make the Solids disappear into 4 directions (like a cross, which will not come back). And it can let the Space element disappear or move up with weak solids, but it is an erasing process only, which can remove our process from the Universe, and then we will not have a place to have a rebirth inside lower levels, but it will continue in heavens and brahma worlds, and if we let go it, then we will not return. I didn't give childish answers. I said about 10 levels (around 9.8. and it is similar to our gravity. 7x7x0.2 = 9.8). And our Universe always become larger and smaller and then again relatively smaller, and the old space will beome a lower level after every aeon (from around 7√ and 7√ relatively smaller each time). So all our details can survive on the separate levels of the space even after many aeons. Buddha said that there were aeons more than the sands in (Ganges) river. Our Universe is not going outside infinitely, but it is going inside infinitely making Unlimited posibilities like Humans, Gods, Brahmas and Buddha. But Buddha said that he couldn't find any world with eternal life, and he couldn't see anyone live eternally during any period of time (everyone die and reborn until Nirvana). The Universe is always changing and there are ends of aeons, so the Universe doens't make an eternal world inside this parallel Universe. As I can understand Buddha said about a parallel Universe with 64 destructions (big bangs) again and again. Our Universe has around 31 levels (humman, god etc) of worlds. And it is connected to another Universe from an element/direction (I guess Gas element). Gas (1), Water (7), Heat (54) will end the aeons (64 destructions ) when it changes the dimensions. Our dimensions are connected to other dimentions, so our Universe will not end because of our dimensions only. And the Space is not growing in a same distance at the edges of it, so there are gaps between space expansion. You can see those gaps in atoms too. Around the protons and neutrons there are few energy levels and there are gaps between energy levels which allowed electrons travel separately. You can see 32 energy levels in the periodic table. And our computers use 32 bits and 64 bits too. There are energy levels from earth to heavens. The hell (inside the earth) is the lowest level which came from another dimension, and there are 4 more levels for Animals, Ghosts, Asura, Humans. And then there are 5 heavens with Good Gods, and the last heaven (6th heaven) is a highly enjoying heaven (Kaama/Mara heaven), because it is using another dimension and then it start another 10 energy levels. And then the next level is not directly connected to another dimension, so it is working without two different dimensions, which caused to exist 20 brahma worlds without genders, but the first 10 levels enjoy bliss (with body) but the next 10 levels 10 are neutral (with mind). The hell use another dimension, and the other 10 use 2 dimensions and the Brahma worlds use 2 dimensions separately (10 after 10). Our genes make our body, and you can find same gene everywhere in our body, that is why we think that there is a me inside our body. And we can find a small copy of our Universe inside our atoms too. And a nuclear explosion is an example of an end of the aeon, because it just release directions around it. We can find direction changes in everything, so that direction change makes it diferrent from our dimension, so that is why we can see it. There are 26.8% dark matter and 4.9% ordinary matter. Buddha said that there will be 7 suns in the end of the world, so maybe the sun will be 7 times hotter, or more 6 suns will be visible from another dimension. We already found dark matter which interact with ordinary matter from it's gravity, but it is invisible to our dimension. So it is a fact that there can be 1 or more Universes in other dimensions. I read that it's not forever but it'll last about 12000 years since Gautama Buddha's death. There are 3 time periods from Buddha's death to 1000 years after. From 1000 years after to 2000 years after. From 2000 to 12000 years after. Within the 1st period many become enlightened, the 2nd period much less become enlightened. 3rd period which we are in right now, very few become enlightened, virtually none because the world is more chaotic with much more distractions and interpretations are much less accurate, and that Pureland Buddhism will save many in the third period because it's easiest to practice and with Amida's name recited we wish to for rebirth in pureland where conditions are right for practices to be done to realize full enlightenment. But then i also heard of teachings that will say when all buddhist scriptures are lost after 12000 years, another Buddha might be born to start the Dharma wheel again with the teachings.

I love learning about Buddhism and I made a video on one of the 3 marks of existence in Buddhism know as imperminance which is to say that nothing in life is permanent, not your job, your emotions or even the very elements that make up life. It's all a constant dance that we should be aware of and not instinctively react to. Be aware of imperminance on a permanent basis, ha! Be the silent witnessing presence in the here and now. Meditation and present moment awareness/mindfulness has greatly helped me with anxiety and depression and I hope to spread the word of what I've learned. Great video! :)

Whether einstein said it or not it's not that important .....what's important is I admire a man with precise breakthrough of consciousness and quantum physics explained through trials and errors from his knowledge.....siddhartha guatama is a teacher *father*husband*warrior*archer*human activist *animal activist *psychologist *therapist *scientist *agricultural *he did all this in his time....which we all are capable of doing but only choose to do some.....but buddha did all.....bless him.....humans are very toxic to each other when it comes to different opinions and concepts.....but in the end we all need to be kind and learn how to guide the mind in a positive way......like for instance the buddha teaches to control your thoughts and maintain a humble heart..... in other words if someone speaks of bad things towards you and come to you in anger if you don't acknowledge it than it doesn't harm you it is the other person that is in agony and pain......just like when someone attempts to give you a penny if you don't receive it *take it.....than it remains to the person that attempts to give it to you......this is how the mind works.....I hope everyone accepts lord buddha's teachings and use it in a positive manner. ....buddha bless everyone.

Buddhism does not demand blind faith from its adherents. Mere belief runs secondary to knowledge and experience. People do not seek refuge in the Buddha with the hope of being saved. The Buddha offers no such guarantee. Rather, Buddhism helps you find your own path to happiness and freedom.

On presenting Buddhism to the West and vice versa. When asked, "What do you think are the best ways to present Buddhism to the Western Students?," Thich Nhat Hanh replied:
"I think Buddhism should open the door of psychology and healing to penetrate more easily into the Western world. As far as religion is concerned, the West already has plenty of belief in a supernatural being. It's not by the law of faith that you should enter the spiritual territory of the West, because the West has plenty of this."This is a particularly revealing quote about Buddhism, not just because it addresses the West's general sense about Buddhism being 'just another religion,' but in the unique way Buddhism is perceived by its practitioners and how it works as a methodology to a) assist in the study of human psychology and b) help relieve and remedy common psychological and emotional problems.
--When asked how Western thought can contribute to Buddhism, Nhat Hanh answered, "democracy and science." He writes,"Personally, learning about science has helped me to understand Buddhism more deeply. I agree with Einstein that if there is a religion that can go along with science, it is Buddhism. You have to look at it, you have to try it and put it into the practice, and if it works, if it can help you transform your suffering and bring you peace and liberty, you can believe it in a very scientific way.
So I think Buddhists should not be afraid of science. Science can help Buddhism to discover more deeply the teaching of the Buddha. For example, the Avatamsaka Sutra says that the one is made of the many and the many can be found in the one. This is something that can be proven by science. Out of a cell they can duplicate a whole body. In one cell, the whole genetic heritage can be found and you can make a replica of the whole body. In the one you see the many. These kinds of things help us to understand the teaching of Buddha more deeply.
So there is no reason why Buddhists have to be afraid of science, especially when Buddhists have the capacity to release their view in order to get a higher view. And in Buddhism, the highest view is no view at all. No view at all! You say that permanence is the wrong view. So you use the view of impermanence to correct the view of permanence. But you are not stuck to the view of impermanence. When you have realized the truth, you abandon not only the view of permanence, but you also abandon the view of impermanence. It’s like when you strike a match: the fire that is produced by the match will consume the match. When you practice looking deeply and you find the insight of impermanence, then the insight of permanence will burn away that notion of impermanence.That is what is very wonderful about the teaching of nonattachment to view. Non-self can be a view, impermanence might be a view, and if you are caught in a view, you are not really free. The ultimate has no view. That is why nirvana is the extinction of all views, because views can bring unhappiness-even the views of nirvana, impermanence, and no-self-if we fight each other over these views.
Melvin McLeod: I very much like the way you describe what other Buddhist traditions call relative and absolute truth. You describe these as the historical and ultimate dimensions. Much of your teaching focuses on the relative or historical dimension, or on the principle of interdependence, which you call interbeing. Is that a complete or final description of reality, or is there a truth beyond the insight that nothing exists independently and all things are interrelated?
Thich Nhat Hanh: There are two approaches in Buddhism: the phenomenal approach and the true nature approach. In the school of Madhyamaka, in the school of Zen, they help you to strike directly into your true nature. In the school of abhidharma, mind-only, they help you to see the phenomena, and if you touch the phenomena deeper and deeper, you touch the ultimate. The ultimate is not something separated from the phenomena. If you touch the ultimate, you touch also the phenomena. And if you touch deeply the phenomena, you touch also the ultimate. It is like a wave. You can see the beginning and the end of a wave. Coming up, it goes down. The wave can be smaller or bigger, or higher or lower. But a wave is at the same time the water. A wave can live her life as a wave, of course, but it is possible for a wave to live the life of a wave and the life of water at the same time. If she can bend down and touch the water in her, she loses all her fear. Beginning, ending, coming up, going down-these don’t make her afraid anymore, because she realizes she’s water. So there are two dimensions in the wave. The historical dimension is coming up and going down. But in the ultimate dimension of water, there is no up, no down, no being, no nonbeing. The two dimensions are together and when you touch one dimension deeply enough, you touch the other dimension. There’s no separation at all between the two dimensions. Everything is skillful means in order to help you touch the ultimate.....

I employ all critics to study and embrace Buddhism to free themselves and attain Supreme Enlightenment if not they will end up as zombies, follow follow. Buddha revealed that everybody possess Supreme power within him or her known as Buddha hood or Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, so tap that power and you will see that even God and gods will respect you. Stop begging, stop seeking elsewhere.
Einstein did say "Humanity has every reason to place the proclaimers of high moral standards and values above the discoverers of objective truth. What humanity owes to personalities like BUDDHA, MOSES, & JESUS ranks for me higher than all the achievements of the inquiring constructive mind."
Accourding to Buddhism there are five primary elements which change the form. Main 5 directions made 5 elements.
1.) Empty Space (Akasha Dathu) is moving outside. So that is why we can go to heavens (impermanent heavens). So Buddha said about the moving Space.
2.) Solids (Patavi Dathu) are going inside. If we don't remove attachments and bad habits then it can take us to hell. But we can stop it using the next 3 elements, because the Solids are atoms, and atoms are protons, neutrons and electrons. Scientists discovered that a proton is a combination of 3 'quarks'. Those three quarks are three directions. There are 4 directions (like a cross), but the Empty Space came from inside it with an opposite Space (Mass) from another dimension and then the 4 directions converted to 1 direction inside and unbalanced 3 directions which made protons. It happens between Nulll (.) and
Zero (0).
If we remove attachment from these three elements 'Water', 'Heat', 'Gases' of our atoms, using meditation and letting it go from our mind, then it can erase our position from the entire universe, because atoms are connected to the Universe, and those three things will move away from the center and then it can make the Solids disappear into 4 directions (like a cross, which will not come back). And it can let the Space element disappear or move up with weak solids, but it is an erasing process only, which can remove our process from the Universe, and then we will not have a place to have a rebirth inside lower levels, but it will continue in heavens and brahma worlds, and if we let go it, then we will not return. I didn't give childish answers. I said about 10 levels (around 9.8. and it is similar to our gravity. 7x7x0.2 = 9.8). And our Universe always become larger and smaller and then again relatively smaller, and the old space will beome a lower level after every aeon (from around 7√ and 7√ relatively smaller each time). So all our details can survive on the separate levels of the space even after many aeons. Buddha said that there were aeons more than the sands in (Ganges) river. Our Universe is not going outside infinitely, but it is going inside infinitely making Unlimited posibilities like Humans, Gods, Brahmas and Buddha. But Buddha said that he couldn't find any world with eternal life, and he couldn't see anyone live eternally during any period of time (everyone die and reborn until Nirvana). The Universe is always changing and there are ends of aeons, so the Universe doens't make an eternal world inside this parallel Universe. As I can understand Buddha said about a parallel Universe with 64 destructions (big bangs) again and again. Our Universe has around 31 levels (humman, god etc) of worlds. And it is connected to another Universe from an element/direction (I guess Gas element). Gas (1), Water (7), Heat (54) will end the aeons (64 destructions ) when it changes the dimensions. Our dimensions are connected to other dimentions, so our Universe will not end because of our dimensions only. And the Space is not growing in a same distance at the edges of it, so there are gaps between space expansion. You can see those gaps in atoms too. Around the protons and neutrons there are few energy levels and there are gaps between energy levels which allowed electrons travel separately. You can see 32 energy levels in the periodic table. And our computers use 32 bits and 64 bits too. There are energy levels from earth to heavens. The hell (inside the earth) is the lowest level which came from another dimension, and there are 4 more levels for Animals, Ghosts, Asura, Humans. And then there are 5 heavens with Good Gods, and the last heaven (6th heaven) is a highly enjoying heaven (Kaama/Mara heaven), because it is using another dimension and then it start another 10 energy levels. And then the next level is not directly connected to another dimension, so it is working without two different dimensions, which caused to exist 20 brahma worlds without genders, but the first 10 levels enjoy bliss (with body) but the next 10 levels 10 are neutral (with mind). The hell use another dimension, and the other 10 use 2 dimensions and the Brahma worlds use 2 dimensions separately (10 after 10). Our genes make our body, and you can find same gene everywhere in our body, that is why we think that there is a me inside our body. And we can find a small copy of our Universe inside our atoms too. And a nuclear explosion is an example of an end of the aeon, because it just release directions around it. We can find direction changes in everything, so that direction change makes it diferrent from our dimension, so that is why we can see it. There are 26.8% dark matter and 4.9% ordinary matter. Buddha said that there will be 7 suns in the end of the world, so maybe the sun will be 7 times hotter, or more 6 suns will be visible from another dimension. We already found dark matter which interact with ordinary matter from it's gravity, but it is invisible to our dimension. So it is a fact that there can be 1 or more Universes in other dimensions. However, I could calculate my explanations mathematically.

Hey, Dalai Lama (I think he retired already) went to wailing wall and prayed there wearing a kippah. They admit that if theirs are not necessary the best boat, and if there is one better, and they are willing to change (ever ascending attitude). Also, I remembered one famous Buddhist in Japan (kobo daishi) mentioned that when stars are gone, by then, his words (teaching, beliefs) will be gone. In judeo-Christianity, it is opposite: G_d's Words are eternal, even after this universe itself disappeared. Judeo-Christianity considered as the best path to G_d and His ultimate plan because it was revealed by G_d (the creator of everything) Himself.

It is, but most people don't recognize it as such because Buddhism is not centered about Worshipping God.
For a long time i didn't understand this either, but then i came across Lectures on Advaita Vedanta (Hindu Philosophy).
Then it became clear.
Religions have 2 kinds of Goals: Self-Realisation and God-Realisation.
So theistic Religions like Christianity, Islam, various Hindu Sects like Vaishnavism etc. they focus on God Realisation,
Buddhism and Jainism on the other Hand on Self (or "Non-Self") Realisation.
But in the end, both are the same.
In the Upanishads (Hindu philosophical texts) it is said: Tat tvam asi = THAT THOU ART = You are that. YOU (Self-Realisation) are THAT (God-Realisation).
