I'm not sure. I believe the USSR was still a thing in 1990? And considering the current propaganda, I wouldn't be surprised if the student was a little brainwashed, just like 'muricans are programmed to fear anything socialist and swear allegiance to the flag every damn day in high school, because they think the US is the greatest nation on the planet (which, surprise! it isn't). The student could've been biased about people owning property (instead of the state) and be ignorant, or be genuinely a little prick from that perspective.
What the student meant by "as a private property" was how it felt as a residence, rather than as a historical structure as seen by the general public. What makes you question whether the Russian student was trying to insult her rather than asking a genuine question? The practice of openly deriding and insulting people by asking loaded questions only started recently with the mainstream media journalists. Have you considered that English isn't his first language? and that there likely have been some loss in meaning in translation from Russian to English in his head? If your first reaction to something unclear or don't understand is that the other person is trying to insult you, you are going to put off a lot of people, and you won't make that many friends. Has anyone called you a Karen?
And was quite the amazing athlete. She did the most difficult of equestrian sports: 3 day eventing. I remember watching her in the Olympics. And her daughter's an Olympian too! I hope Anne, like her mum, keeps on riding well into her 90's.

@@thatchoirgirl94 Please don't judge by today's standards. Their world was ruled by quite different rules. Most aristocrats were raised by Nannies, and home educated until old enough for boarding school. The royal parents had their duties that involved travel so were often away from their children.
She has a beautiful, genuine smile!
Princess Anne is my favorite royal. She possesses a great sense of humor, and has a great sense of duty. Very much like her mother. Also, like her mother, is always well dressed, poised, and quick to smile. Plus, she wears sharp looking sunglasses.
Cool, relaxed, confident delivery and there it is, if Princess Anne says it I believe her.
Wonderful, educated and sophisticated lady. Kept her cool and didn't take the bait!
Technically she is not educated. Well raised is what makes the difference and highly intelligent
@@geelanda3455 What rubbish. Princess Anne was educated at Benenden, a very exclusive private school. She left at 18 years old with 5 GSCEs and 3 A Levels English, History and Politics. She decided to start work straight away on both royal duties and her equestrian career instead of going to university.
@@snowysnowyriver
Didn't she go to Roedean ?
@@veronicacrabtreehill6608 No, Benenden. Google it.
@@snowysnowyriver A-levels don't count as well-educated, sorry.
You can tell how intelligent and fun she is ❤
Did she have a breakthrough in reverse mathematics and or discovered a cure....
She the princes Royal. Sounds just like her mother The Queen.
Not by a far cry
She is so beautiful then and now. ❤
She’s so lovely and a credit to her parents and children.
She is so beautiful, especially here, she was about 40
I honestly don't think ive ever heard her speak she handled that well
Princess Anne is such a warm, Witty and gentle lady.
Her little laugh after he asks the question...i love it
Without question , the best of the late Queen's children.
The one that should have been queen for sure !😏
How about her youngest son? He has no (known) scandals attached to his name. He'd be my choice.

Such a clever and lovely Princess Royal!
Princess Anne is my favorite
Mine too!!! She's something else !!! One tough cookie, she is ,even a kidnapper couldn't scare her ,NOT BLOODY LIKELY,is what she told him when he told her to get out .....Courageous,nerves of steel!!! She takes after her Mother ....A shame she couldn't be The Queen for she would be as wonderful. She works hard for her country!!!!
She should be Queen.
Mine, too. Class act 🇬🇧
Yes, I’d bet she’d make a great Queen. She really reminds me of the late HMQE11.
She has such a pretty smile...😍
I absolutely adore Princess Anne, always been my favourite royal. She is just wonderful!!!!
She is plain and elegant, and I have admired her poise for years! Many years ago I watched Eric Severeid interview Anne, and he had clearly met more than his match. She was astute and clever, and had no intention of permitting Eric to tow the interview to places beyond the bounds she placed on him. She responded well with a directness and an utter lack of awkwardness. You see this same quite remarkable fluency here.
I adore Princess Royal Anne. She is brilliant. A real Gem in the Royal Crown. One of my favorite clips of her.
A Colorado Mountain Grandma, USA 💜🇺🇸💕🇬🇧✌️
Princess Anne is such a delight and learned so much from her amazing mother. She’s just lovely and so funny. I love her straightforward vibe and common sense. She’s my favorite. And I have to add that (because I’m a bit younger than her) I never realized how drop dead gorgeous she was as a teenager! Wow.
Princess Anne seems really sweet. Bit of a tomboy who loves sport horses and her mum. Always low key and private beautiful and quite serene. Nice energy❤
She handled that with great class, dignity and modesty.
Recently I have a new admiration for her. She obviously was born into such an amazing privilege but I do think she’s kept a good work ethic and she is loyal. Also, she much more lovely than I once thought. I like her ❤
Enchanting woman! Such grace and beauty. Im Portuguese but love Princess Anne!
I’m not sure if the student was trying to insult her or what his goal was, but she handled it beautifully.
Yes, the boy was trying to insult Princess Anna, but insulted himself. Оказалось он невежда. You should know better the subject you are talking about.
Yes, he is trying yo insulted her. But, he is a fool.
Instructed by the KGB
Has anyone called you a Karen?
always had a soft spot for Anne. She seems not to take herself too seriously.❤
Princess Royal Your so witty..so well respected..keep it up your highness
Beautiful lady my dad has met her a few times, she's so down to earth and knowledgeable
PrincessAnne has such a beautiful smile and is so sweet but strong!!!❤❤❤❤
And was quite the amazing athlete. She did the most difficult of equestrian sports: 3 day eventing. I remember watching her in the Olympics. And her daughter's an Olympian too! I hope Anne, like her mum, keeps on riding well into her 90's.
Nah. You would have said that about a horse if it was a royal, wouldn't you?
@@dragosapina5692seriously, like wtf is wrong with these people?
I absolutely have always loved Royal Princess Anne….!
Pure class…. you either have it or you don’t…. you can polish the edges a bit- smooth them so they shine…. and then you are on your own ❤😊
ANNE handled this young man’s question with candor, kindness, humor, and ease. Bless you, Anne!
She is a truereflection of her mum❤ & yes she would & can make an awesome queen 🌹👍🏽👍🏽
I love how she keeps her composure. Leave her alone.
She is alone. She lives on an estate the size of a small country
Smart lady!!!
What a lovely woman she is! Why couldn't SHE be queen now? Charles seems kind, but Anne has worked tirelessly her entire life for the UK.
Because until recently the line of succession skipped females. She has also said she had absolutely no desire to be Queen and was quite relieved she didn't have to. When her children were born she decided that they wouldn't have titles.
And she is younger than Charles. For her to be queen he needs to step down.
@@blazenkatkalcevic6374 Even if King Charles were to step down, Princess Anne would not become queen, the crown would pass to Prince William.
@@blazenkatkalcevic6374 No if Charles steps down William becomes King...as William is the Heir apparent...because he is the eldest son of Charles....Ann is way down I think she is now 16th in the line of succession...this is how it works....
I agree. Charles sadly is weak.
What a beautiful smile!
She gets her humour from her father ❤
Beautiful and wise Royal Princess
She is truly truly beautiful
Princess Anne is a true reflection of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II...Her grace and poise ..She has that beautiful smile like her mother. She has that sense of humor humor. She shared a very deep bond with the Queen .as well her devotion to duty .They were inseparable . Princess Anne s pain was very visible losing her mum...But she remained strong with grace and love.Princess Anne ..Her Majesty raised a beautiful daughter ❤❤
What a wonderful woman. Honest and cheerful! And a beautiful smile. Just like her mother!
She is so good at being direct and kind, lovely princess. 🎉
A provocation question answered with such charm and grace - and this reminds me what a real looker she was
Wonderful woman!
I am so proud of our dear own Princess Ann, she is a champion, and we are very lucky to have her ❤️
So graceful ❤❤❤ the real princess
She AVOIDED answering him for what he meant.
Remember this was still Soviet Union so this boy was looking for affirmation of everything the communists had told him and Princess Anne told him how it really was.
Her smile lights up more than just the room. I love her wit.
Princess Anne, always a beautiful woman.
Extremely intelligent, and probably the hardest working Royal, that is rarely noticed. We love you Princess Anne💕👌👍
