Mirari’s Wake does not work as you stated. It adds one mana of any type that the land produced, not could produce. So if you tap a dual land that could produce red or blue for red, you add another red, you can’t use Mirari’s Wake to add blue. If you tap a land that adds both red and blue to your mana pool you could use Mirari’s Wake to add one more of either color.
Rhys was my first commander deck, and he will always be my favorite pet deck. I've retired many decks before in the passed, but to this day I will still continue to play him, even if he's not really the best, and the reason why I love Selesnya so much.
Dromoka with lightning greaves on the battlefield, if they don't deal with her and don't have abilities to prevent you casting a sorcery, you cast next turn Tooth and Nail = win. She's a combo protector, and can hit pretty damn hard as well; I love Dromoka, best dragonlord out of the 5. Not counting in Selesnya you get cards like the Wilt-Leaf Liege, Tolsimir Wolfblood or Knight of new Alara, which can pump it to insane levels. Also can be enchanted by shield of the oversoul, one of te best common auras. It can be a very, VERY menacing commander.
I'm a big Selesnya fan, and to see some of my favourite cards here was definitely a good nod to this guild. Awesome vid again, thanks for your content :)
The pw deck ajani is actually really good in commander. The only ability you'll activate is the +1 to draw a creature each turn, but it's really helpful
Just found your channel so I'm binge-watching videos now. Sorry if I'm flooding your messages lol. I completely disagree about Rhys, a decently-built deck with him at the helm should rarely have trouble keeping up early game, unless you're playing a super-competitive meta. He strongly encourages you to go all out on the go-wide token strategy, and focus only on that- and having such a straightforward, one-track strategy tends to make the deck run much more smoothly. And the sheer amount of tokens this deck can create is insane. Plus, his low mana cost doesn't hurt, making it very easy to rebuild after he gets removed, and the entire deck itself, in my experience, can scoff at a boardwipe and recover in a couple of turns. He quickly became one of my most powerful commander decks, and one of the most fun, as well. Super good. Disagreement aside, loving your videos so far, and it seems like you have a lot of them, so that's pretty great.
Played four player Commander , my girl uses arahbo and plays aura shards like on turn 3 and completely shut down one of the other guys daxos deck for the entire game lmaooo. Literally sat there with his thumb in his ass
How the heck is rhys not on the main list at the very least id switch it with your #10 slot. though out of the three of these iv seen so far this is the one i can agree with the most.
Yeah seriously Rhys is so amazing, he's functional enough to get by early game if you're not in a super competitive playgroup, he creates absolutely massive armies, and it's sooo easy to rebuild after a boardwipe. One of my favorite commanders ever.
I feel sterling grove should have been in the top ten. Enchantment shroud + enchanment tutor for 2 mana. That's hard to beat

You can easily whip rhys out and activate it's late game ability instantly thanks to it's 1 mana playability

Great list, I agree with all these choices, Aura Shards is great but draws a ton of hate, so not the best political card.
