Living right at Palomar mountain and driving/riding it several times a week this is sort of funny to watch like what's the big deal? The great thing about the east side is the double yellow is simply paint1 No divets or reflectors etc so drifing over it is nothing if one wants to break the law that is lol Not saying I do but a person COULD use the whole road where there is good visability and no oncoming traffic ...which is a lot of places a lot of the time ....of course there IS some traffic NO ONE can control even with legal permission to race on the road ....which of course is WILDLIFE lol ....there are Deer, Turkey, Coyote, and many suicide squirrels not to mention the potential of domestic animals ....at least all the bear are gone these days....supposedly anyway lol
What a privilege to have that road at your doorstep! Having it to ourselves for a whole day was so much fun and I know everyone in the Lotus club is grateful to the local residents for allowing us to have use of it. Thanks
Amazing, I'm so stoked to see a SoCal Hill Climb!

Thank you for your kind words. The San Diego Lotus club organized a great event and ensured the local residents were part of the process.
Such a fun day!! I wish I had done something to block the wind noise on my runs up there the same day. But what a blast!!!
That's so cool they got it closed down for the run. We need to make it the next pikes peak!
It is much better than not being shut down
How do you get them to shut down the road ?
$$$$$
Slow AF. But fun.
