For me more hurtful is snowball effect when i losing such alike like 4 in a row. It was pretty big pay jump though in this one but Spraggy is already successful enough in this game to not take it too much i guess . If it was like idk mili and mili for first and third get 6 hundo k that might be his calibre to cause pain i suppose . He also just might be immune bcs of happy and fullfil life idk tbh. Why is it that the payouts for 1st and 2nd are always the same - is it just because the winner gets the other bounty?

Its double your own bounty and double the opponent's bounty. So you'd get about 2k-3k more than 2th place.
when you knock someone out you get half their bounty and half goes to your own bounty. winner gets their own bounty at the end.
