Always shopped at Radio Shack. They had a lot of those odd electrical components you could not find anywhere else. This video brings back fond memories.
@@HearthHomeNostalgia Unfortunatley there is no place. And electronics today are just appliances today. Not the fun they used to be. I could be wrong about that, there are people that work on projects like raspberry pi and such. But without a brick and mortar store that you can walk into and browse, it's just not the same. Home Solar that I have assembled and continue to grow and tweak is the closest thing to the tinkering of the 80's, that I would enjoy.

Loved my local radio shack. Even had a TRS-80 Model 4D and added an extra 64K PAL RAM that I would then utilize as a very fast RAM Disk

Oh yeah ,I shopped there We had Radio Shack and “Burton”s”.My oldest Brother 😇had a CB Radio. I remember getting batteries, cassette player,Radio.📻🔦📟,
