My favorite cannabis infused beverage is cream. I use about a shot glass full of cannabis infused cream in my morning coffee. When you're infusing dairy, your solvent is fat rather than alcohol, so heat is necessary to melt the fat solids so they can dissolve all the good stuff. I put the decarbed cannabis in a sachet bag with about a quart of cream in a tightly sealed mason jar and submerge it in a sous vide hot water bath overnight. 140°F should be hot enough to eliminate the possibility of bacteria growth and extend shelf life in the fridge. For cannabis infused yogurt, dial the temperature of the water bath to 110°F and use milk and a tablespoon of store-bought yogurt per quart instead of cream.

Great recipe I do about the same thing when I make my RSO but I soak my cannabis flower in 151 ever clear I don't do a second wash with other in the everclear I strain off all the alcohol and I save the leftover plant material in a mason jar with a coffee filter over it with a metal ring and that will let more of the alcohol evap out of it and then I take melted coconut oil and infuse it in my instapot pressure cooker for 45 minutes and then strain that through a nylon nut bag and I make a topical cream with the coconut oil and the leftover flour material from making RSO it's even strong enough so you can put a tablespoon in your coffee and have medicated weekend coffee the cream that I make out of that I've gave to other people and it is awesome for arthritis migraines and restless leg syndrome

Don’t forget to label the date of when you first infused your wine. I’d leave it for at least 6 months, but I normally wait at least a year to 18 months. Patience is a virtue, so start NOW! 😂 The only thing I’d really change about his process is that I’d always use darkened glass, like dark amber (brown) or green. Best to keep the sunlight out. I’d start out making small batches, so as not to waste all that alcohol , should you not enjoy it…..in those cases, I just hold my nose and down the hatch it goes. Pro tip: get some amber coloured mason jars. After you’re done the shaking process, be it warm in a dark cupboard, or old, in a freezer, smaller ones are better for this process: take a few layers of cheese cloth, and wrap ii over the jar, then screw on the metal band without the cover. Then get a funnel whose mouth is much wider than the mason jar ( this avoids spillage) and pour your filtered elixir into another clean, hopefully , amber, green, or blue jar.
I don't have a freezer big enough, it works the same if you pop it in a cool dark cupboard, I've done JD for 6 and 12months that way, love too have a freezer to do it this way
I'mi infusing Glendalough Irish whisky. I just learned that freezing whisky affects the taste, a lot. Just in a cool dark place between shakings. I'll let you know...I'm on for infusing rum next, freezed!🍀☘🍀

@@saucecastillo460 I've seen that they store it in barrels with the wine like this for about a year. So i imagine the same way minus the cold. Alcohol naturally extracts THC. The stronger the proof the faster and better, the lower like wine might take longer.
@@saucecastillo460 probably by making an alcohol tincture and dropping it into the wine but those are always so strong, it'll def taste off. Idk if using vegetable glycerin would be better or would bind with the wine but it's also really sweet when making tinctures.

You also would need to add the factor of infusion. For example; usually coconut oil infused for 8 hours in a double boiler will have infused 80-90%of the thc found in original material. So you would do your 20 000mg × 0.19percent and then multiply then answer by your factor of infusion ex. for coconut oil: (20000×0.19)×90%
My Family Does This With 99% Alcohol(Not For Consuming) But For The Body And Cuts And Skin Irritation It’s Helps A lot And Nuestra Señora De La Muerte Loves It Too

I might start used ghee when I do my canna butter and see if it'll come out more potent.

Freeze the herb before you put in the liquor. This makes the tricombs brittle so when you shake it it takes less time to infuse.
