      Lots of different configurations, but still all the same... Swap parts and make sure everything is smooth..

    Looks like what I just had done to my 148 loader. $249.94 and 6 weeks later.
    Nice how to, if I need to do another cylinder this will be helpful.
    Vaseline will help a well lubricated cylinder outlast several pistons......😳
    Man I would love those metal saw horses!
    Thanks for taking the time to make this video

      No reason why you can't, just gotta be careful, clean and use some common sense.. (don't squish the barrel or bugger anything up)

      Biggest thing is, common sense.

    Good day Ed Interesting video! What is a bearing scrapper? Thanks

    • @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin
      @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin  3 роки тому +1

      Good morning Don.
      It has a few names, we've always called it a bearing scraper. It's a deburring tool, 3sided, so It has 3 sharp edges. Use it a lot on the lathe, for just knocking the sharp edges of a piece. It's very hard material, so it will cut steel much like a lathe tool does.

    Nice that the shaft was not scored.. a seal kit will do the job.

    • @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin
      @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin  3 роки тому

      Very rarely come across a buggered up shaft, but once in a while..
      Had good luck with smoothing the rough edges with Emery cloth when we have had one.. the seals don't care if the shaft is perfect, it just has to be smooth.
      Thank you Jennifer
