My take on how her meeting with Grant, the man who got her sister's heart, changed her life and explained many aspects of Jo's character. Her fear of losing the people she loves without being able to say goodbye. Her sensitivity, her mushiness (as she calls it).
Jo's always been extrovert, open, but (in my opinion), after her sister's death, she became even more. She feels she has to tell everytime she has a chance how much she loves her family and friends. This video is mainly on the episode 9x13: Jo meets Grant and this meeting wakes up old scars (her sister's death) and through the day, Jo remembers two other episodes where she's nearly lost a person she loves: Sid's illness (and she's aware she can lose him) and Mac's shooting. At the end, she goes to the lab to see her friends (and family) and she remembers some good times and how much they are precious for her.
