@@richardo212 I am not bothered too much at the moment as waiting for the X20 or X20S to come in stock. I really fancy that transmitter and can't wait to do a video on it. Seems to be a delay on them....... You are not by any chance Richard from T9?
I know it's late but for anybody watching this that don't feel like soldering here's something that might help you: You can lift that tiny metal plate on the PCB button, the one with 4 plastic pins through it, that will free the button and you'll find a little metal diaphragm underneath, that makes the click noise and also the electric contact, from this point you can clean it and the contact surface, you can also try to bend it back to shape (very fiddly) and/or just put a tiny piece of plastic between the diaphragm and the button, this will make for a better contact without using too much force, place the metal plate back and will probably work again. You will most likely deform the plate, but hey, as long as it works. I've done this with the trigger of my X-Ray machine so I decided to try it with my Taranis "enter" button with positive results.
Spot on TWS , just what I needed .It's just gone faulty on me today 18/4/2020 and I found you doing the very same job . Just ordered the switches . Cheers Graham
Thankyou, you've saved me a lot of research finding the correct ones! I've just ordered switches off ebay using your link, it's the 'Exit' button on mine that is intermittent.
Great video. I've got the same problem with one of the buttons. Thanks especially for identifying the button size. I found it on eBay in the US for $2.99 for a bag of 10.
My elevator trim lever is iffy in one direction..I think it needs a new one....I heard your EZUHF Module boot up at the end of the clip, it has no antenna on it, hope it's not fried..? Good Tutorial....:)
Brian Courtice there is no polarity. However it needs to be in the correct position. There is two sides of a switch so make sure it matches the same as the old one. I guess It could be 180 deg out
Excellent video. One of my Taranis button switches is playing up and your video has helped a lot. Thank you.
Oddly enough one of my elevator trims has started playing up.
@@TWSreviews Sorry to hear that, but I know that T9hobbysport sell replacement trim button switches - ask me how I know!!!!

Yes I know that was an accident....I am conscious about that.
Rookie mistake......tested and all ok.
Is there no need to be concerned with polarity when you insert the new button into the board?
