Ukrainian Independence Day is officially on the 24th of August, but it was celebrated on the previous Saturday in Etobicoke (GTA), at Centennial Park. It was a well-attended large event which went all afternoon and evening this year, with an expanded program and some special guest performers from Ukraine.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Toronto Branch.
