One of our listeners has been getting the silent treatment for a WEEK from his girlfriend of two years and he has NO IDEA why… So today he calls her to finally find out why she put him in the doghouse… And we learned that she has every reason to be mad. She knew he wasn't paying attention, she said she was looking at him and he was just staring into his phone playing a game. She could have got his full attention and asked him to put his phone down a minute she has something important to say. She also probably knew he often just said " yea ok.. that sounds good..ect" when ingrossed in his game. If they were together that she should have know his real reaction to such news and that he obviously didn't hear her.
@@frenchbluehen my point was that she told him when she "knew" he wasn't listening. In my opinion when we have something important to tell someone and they are engrossed in something, we say something along the lines like, " hun, I got something really important to tell you, can you pause the game or " or " when that rounds done we need to talk"
She knew that he never listens properly when playing, but chose that moment to tell him something extremely important. Telling him while she knows she doesn't have his attention makes me think she wanted to start the drama or have a huge example in the future about how he never listens. but with hormones and the fear of the parenthood she probably wasn't thinking rationally.
Would you tell something that important or meaningful to someone while they are busy and you are aware their attention is elsewhere, than blame them when they didn't hear you?

I have to say she handled it like an adult and just gave him the cold shoulder. I mean who wouldn’t try to actually talk to the other person.
I mean yeah he should've payed attention but damn avoid him for a week ??? Drive him insane mentally when he about to be a dad ?That's now how you start a parenthood come on now

I`ve known guys to have an argument, even ending up in a fight then are down the pub drinking together an hour later.
