I missed that when I was researching the old ones before I recorded, but you're 100% right, the old ones used a ball peg and now they use a hinge and I like the hinge a little more. What are your thoughts? Which way do you like better?
Thank you Nathan for clarifying that. I didn't think there were differences, but someone had indicated that articulation was different and I couldn't see it from pictures or reviews so I'm glad someone with an authority on the matter could bring this info to light. :-)
I did see that the wrist articulation is updated from a ball peg to the hinge/peg. Went back and watched some more reviews and noticed that after posting my review. The paint appeared mostly the same. There's always variations in paint with Neca. As far as the smoother finish, I'll buy that. :-) thanks for posting.
Very nice review! I picked these two up this weekend as well! I agree the City Hunter has that something extra I like about it. The Jungle Hunter, I couldn't keep his shoulder cannon mounted, it didn't fit. :/ They both look fantastic though!
The plasma caster on the Jungle hunter "should" fit, but you do have to put a decent amount of pressure on it to get the top tab into the should tab slot. Just dont' put too much pressure or you'll break it, which would not be fun.
@@TechChucker They had plenty, but its not a huge deal, I like the way mine is set up atm! I had put a video with mine posed the way he is going to stay.
Yeah, the risk of getting something worse with an exchange isn't always worth it. I'm debating right now with mine cuz the wrist blade is broken but I like everything else on it. Don't want to get one with loose joints instead.
Awesome review man, yeah these 2 Predators look so good. I went back to target last night and got the scorpion alien. I was tempted to get City Hunter but I had hidden that alien and I've been thinking about it ever since so I had to get him. I put the City Hunter in my hiding place so I'll pick him up next. City Hunter is the best value of the two for sure. More accessories and I like the paint and armor style more. That scorpion alien looks cool but I'm trying to keep from collecting too many different things. Otherwise I'd get it. Thanks for watching.

I really like Mezco figures, but if you're on a budget, you really need to pick and choose which ones you're gonna get. Some aren't nearly as good as others. I only have 3 in my collection because of that. I want more, but a couple of the pre-orders I've put in I've cancelled because of how slow Mezco is to get stuff to market and I have lost interest. That's what happened with their Gladiator Hulk. I was excited for a whole year about it, and then I just lost interest. When I saw the pictures, I cancelled. Wasn't gonna pay $125 for it. I may grab it now since he's been hovering around $85-$90, but I'm still not sure.
At first I liked Jungle Hunter more but now that I've had both for a few weeks I must say City Hunter is my favorite of the 2. Both are awesome but City Hunter has everything going for it. From the sculpt and paint to the accessories, even the mask and eye lenses are amazing.
I might be getting all of the ultimate predators from TheBigBadToyStore except the Fugitive lab escape predator. And I might be getting the Deluxe Assassin predator. I'm probably gonna start collecting Neca predator figures, thanks to you :).
@@TechChucker You see I live in Lithuania and it's pretty small and there are no stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, but the worst thing is that there is no Target in the whole country...:(
Lithuania, that's amazing. Never thought my videos would be watched by people there. Very cool. Bummer that you don't have the stores like we have. I've talked to people from elsewhere in Europe that have a hard time finding figures at a decent price. It always helps me to realize how good we have it here with our prices and availability of stuff.

O.K. Am I crazy or are the hands and arms on several of these reviewers the exact same? Review Spot...Anthony's Customs, this guy and several others have the exact arms (hairy) and hand shape. I think they are the same dude with different vocal narration. Why? How the hell should I know...just look at the vids yourself and tell me if I'm off my rocker or not.

actually the re-release has hing wrist and the original had ball joints so there is new articulation

Good review man. From what I've seen, I think I like the City version better as well.
They're both really cool but that City Hunter just had so many more accessories.
