I agree. It needs something more ominous, in the vein of Holst's "Mars Movement" from his "Planets" suite. Or Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring." Or Hans Zimmer could have written something similar.
Tracings of what? The machinery? The people? The landscapes? Many good artists use tracings as bases for their work, but then they build them up in the finished projects. I have done the same in my own art. It still takes a lot of work and is not to be denigrated for its final effect. The painting in the final renditions provides the atmosphere and the impacts of the messages.
