The bike looks cool except the seat. Maybe they should think about making their price point more competitive by sacrificing their top shelf HQ/office space to something more humble. Last thought, the thumb throttle should be a twist grip.
The seat has been upgraded, you can watch new saddle here: ua-cam.com/video/YN3-DPKqib0/v-deo.html The thumb throttle can be swapped for a twist grip. The torque is very high, so the thumb throttle is safer than the twist. Best.
Love this bike but looks like you have to pre order and delivery like 3 months from now? Lot of new bikes are about to hit the market like the new segway. On the fence
Hey Ristretta: How about providing one of these bikes to an established motorcycle or bicycling magazine for a detailed, professional review, including both positives and negatives. All I've seen, so far, is basically self-promotion or "rider dude" comments, neither of which convinces me. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment...I left almost the same comment word for word on another one of their self promotion videos. There's at least 15 ebike review channels I follow, and not one word about the Ristretto 512. Seems strange for such a seemingly well spec'd out ebike to not have any of them mention it.

Yea, usually the size it’s not only an ergonomic choice but having a more compact product, laid back.
