Moe, OKJ needs to sponsor your bro! You’re the reason I purchase my bronco 2 years ago. I don’t use it all the time, but dammit when I see your videos of it I pull it out and fire it up. Going to be grilling again this week on it because of you. Love the videos sir. Keep ‘em coming. And, OKJ, sponsor this man already.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm just a simple guy who loves to cook, and I'm happy that my videos make you want to cook. It would be awesome to be sponsored by OKJ, but I don't see that happening. But I enjoy my time uploading to UA-cam.
Bro got me buying bronco drum 2 years ago. I love the smoker i cooked great food on it and produced great bbq. Today i purchased the okj bronco Pro. More space same amazing quality. Okj should pay you a commission 😂. Thx for all you do great videos and awesome personality. Cheers 🍻
I'm glad to know my videos helped you decide on buying the Bronco. It's proven to produce quality bbq. Which color did you get your Bronco in? Lol, if they wanted to pay me, I wouldn't turn it down, but I think my channel is small to be recognized by them.
ive been using oil dry or unsented kitty litter in the bottom of mine clean up is way easier. Seen it on the competition guys channels. game changer for sure. thanks for the content love my OJB
I can't speak on the Weber Smokey Mountain, but I can say the Bronco has it all. You can hang your meats. You can smoke your meats and also grill. Low and slow or hot and fast.
Thank you Moe. My wife found a bronco at a thrift shop and we snatched it up at $90 - missing the hangars and meat hooks but still a great bargain. I got a manual and it didn't include any sort of guide on how to use it so I definitely appreciate learning from you. What was the airflow problem that was fixed? I'm wondering if mine might have an issue.
A great find! Considering they have gone up in price since i bought mine in 2019 for $260. I believe they are selling now for regular Bronco that I have for $400. The way you can see if the air intake problem is fixed on your Bronco is to see if the top piece of the air intake sits flush with the bottom piece of the air intake. I have a video about that on my Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Playlists. The video shows what the air intake looks like before I was sent the correct air intake top piece. Thank you so much for your donation. It means a lot. You're the first person to do that for me. For sure, I was it for a cook.
Thank you for watching! I have never wished that. Only because I normally cook for myself or if I have my 2 brothers over and this size Bronco is perfect size. If you cook for larger groups, the Pro is the one to get. I only wish that it came in Orange. I first bought it when it was released and could only get it in black.
Outstanding videos, young man! I'm very appreciative of you taking the time to give us knowledge of the Oklahoma Joe Bronco. I'm a Brinkmann guy! I can't get rid of the old smokers!😅 Question: Do you have to season the Heat Diffuser and the Grill Grate both are made of porcelain?
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate your kind words. I tried to make sure I spoke on what I want the viewers to know about the Bronco. It is an amazing drum smoker that can do it all. You don't have to season them, but you can. It's really your choice.
Just purchased a Bronco I have a kettle but we'll see how it goes when this shows up on my door. My parents "another grill"? 😂 Fingers crossed thanks for the review.
Hey bro cam you please do a video on the gasket replacement, because I bought mine and it's starting to come off already probably due to employee setup at Academy.
I don't have to add. That's how efficient the Bronco is. Once you figure out how to use it and what brand charcoal you use, you can use a full basket of charcoal for up to 20 hours. I have a video on my channel showing that.
I cook the majority of the time at 250f, and after I light up my charcoal and place place the basket into the Bronco, it usually takes about 5 minutes to get to that temp. But before I set the lit charcoal basket into the Bronco, I let the charcoal light up until I see a small portion of the charcoal hashed over. I always let the charcoal basket burn outside of the Bronco to allow it to get as much air as it can to light up. So overall, from lighting the charcoal and placing it in the Bronco to getting the temp at 250f, it ranged from 30-45 minutes. But once I place the charcoal basket into the Bronco, takes about 5 minutes to reach 250f

I agree with you 100% I love my Oklahoma Joe Bronco! Cooking a brisket right now!
How's the brisket cook coming along?
It was good but a little tough I was having a problem regulating the temp.
How were you going about regulating your temp?
@@MoesBlackGoldBBQit was staying around 220 it took a while but I finally got it up to 265 it just took forever not sure why.
I have the Bronco and use Thermoworks Billows to control my temps and it is such an awesome setup.
I've never used that accessory.

An amazingly helpful video. Thanks!

I love ❤ my Bronco smoker, thank you Pitmaster Moe Black!!! 🎉😊
You're welcome! The Bronco is a must have!

Thx for posting this. Been looking to get a Bronco or a Weber Smokey Mountain but leaning toward the Bronco.

@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ already decided…getting a bronco. Just ordered extra grill and shelf and cover. I’ll def be tunin in more . Thx for all the content
Congrats! You're gonna love it. The 2nd shelf helps. Let me know how your first cook goes.

Nice video can you show us how to fix the gasket around the lid if possible I just ordered a new one
I certainly can. I will film it tomorrow and hopefully have it uploaded to my channel by Thursday.
Thank you! Joe you rock!
Good videos. Do you ever wish that you would have bought the bigger pro version? Cheers

Thanks, for responding back to me so quickly! Oklahoma Joe needs to hire you as their grill spokesperson!✌🏾
That would be nice, but they've never contacted me for anything. I'm guessing my channel is too small.

Great video Brother! The Bronco is a beast!
Thank you! It's a great investment to cooking great bbq.
I own one. Excellent product
It sure is! Thank you for watching.
all rite now , you know you can't mention Bronco without me commenting ! it's my most used most bragged about smoker ! i luv this thing !
I agree and was shocked, I never made a review for the Bronco.

Sorry about getting back to you this late. I just uploaded the vid. Were you able to get it fixed?
@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ imma check that video out when I get off,
Sounds good.
Hey man you should give the char logs a try on the bronco someone said they got 24 hours at 250
I do have a bag of char logs. I just have not used them. I do need to, because of how long they burn.
How many times you have to keep adding to the charcoal basket?
I don't have to add. That's how efficient the Bronco is. Once you figure out how to use it and what brand charcoal you use, you can use a full basket of charcoal for up to 20 hours. I have a video on my channel showing that.
Wouaw magnifique 😍
Thank you for watching!
Do you remove the cap on bottom for better airflow
Not for that reason. I removed it to allow the meat to cook directly over the coals.
How long does it take to come to temp after your first initial light up when smoking meats
from lighting my starter on the coal in the bronco to cook temp takes 1 hour to a hour 20 if it's below freezing out .
I cook the majority of the time at 250f, and after I light up my charcoal and place place the basket into the Bronco, it usually takes about 5 minutes to get to that temp.
