OC shows that you can do this WITHOUT traumatising your character all over again. It's so disappointing right now to feel an amazing opportunity forming through OC (Bensler + character's personal lives) only to see it squandered in the preceding and following svu episodes. It's like the writers live on 2 different planets. Wow, scene at the end makes me want to cry, "This is life." Stabler knows his mom's wisdom has the foundation of maternal love and understanding behind it.
What's not to love about this scene?Elliot/Olivia/Bernie amazing banter and being domestic. I'd watch a whole episode of just the three of them doing this! Bernie being nosy AF about Liv and Elliot's conversation about Eli. Bernie and Liv concerned about Elliots cut and both expressing how much they want him to come home. Liv about to clean elliots wounds just like she used to back in the day! Bernie calling olivia elliots partner. They will always be partners! Liv telling him: "I want you to come home." that's hugely significant and perfectly mirrors that scene last season when olivia expresses concern about Elliot. When she tells him to get himself together and stop obsessing about the case. She tells him to do it for himself and for his kids. But she doesn't say do it for me, except she tells him with her eyes. Here she's saying do it for me! Do it Elliot! The love of your life is telling you to come home! That, that's where you need to be, for you, your family and for her. And if he's going to listen to anyone it's going to be her.
@@kaferrat Just because it didn’t happen right then, doesn’t mean it’s never gonna happen, period. Trust me, there will be MANY more opportunities for them to kiss. Also at the same time, there’s good reason for them not to kiss now either. But what is so obvious, the way Bensler were looking at each other, it’s Soooo obvious they’re in love with each other. And can’t wait to see them when they do kiss

You think you want that, but you don’t. I just commented with this elsewhere, but in the 80s when I was a kid, my mom and I loved a show called, Moonlighting. You might’ve heard of it - Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis? Well everyone, and I mean EVERYONE who watched this show kept waiting at the edge of their couch each week for these two to get together. It was the exact same dynamic. They worked together (except as private detectives) and there was all sorts of chemistry and tension. This went on for several seasons until finally, the writers made it happen. And like any relationship built on fantasy, it was the kiss of death. It ended the show. No. Really. It killed the show. You think you want that to happen, but you really don’t. Because once it happens, it happens. And then what? ::YAWN:: That’s what. Another prime example would be House and Cuddy. Remember? Killed the show. Ruined everything. So eh. Nah. Let them dance around the possibility, mess with us a bit, but never really go there. Keep things alive.

Brilliant execution of a dramatic scene. Everything. A simple, straight forward little story with different layers of deep conflict (it’s called life). Of course, the superb acting, always the main element of making a performed scene successful. And then, the lighting, the camera work, the choice of camera positions. All so brilliant as to transform a simple little scene into a “I want to cry” drama.
Organized Crime is so good, so exciting! Sweet dramatic moments and angst is always so LOUD! This scene is absolutely amazing! Domestic Stabler and Benson 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That innocent little baby that Liv helped deliver is now a drug dealer/pusher & Liv’s the one busting him. Now Elliot really needs to wrap up his undercover assignment, cus Eli clearly needs his father. Of course it’s nothing new for the Stablers, really. Kathleen & Dicky got into their own share of troubles back in the day
Dicky never got in trouble. He did everything he can to help a homeless guy who ended up killing his best friend. And he wanted to join the military to be like his father. Never once tho has he ever broken a law.

i might be totally wrong, but i think what led her to say that to Elliot is because if you remember earlier in the episode when they were overlooking the party and they were filling in Liv on who's who, she asked about Flutura and him working her and then he got really defensive, similarly to back when she commented on dani back in season 8 to Elliot. I think that she realized that something had happened between them (flutura and El) and is saying that to him for more for her sake. maybe im reading way into this, but when Elliot told her very about why he was working Flutura and getting really defensive, Olivia looked a little hurt.

This whole domestic vibe, I'm here for it 🙌
The emphasis of "I WANT YOU TO COME HOME." The 'wife' has spoken Elliot 🤣🤣🤣
“I want you to come home” HUH?!? Touching his face ?!?!
Hmmm suspicious
Liv wants her man. But she wants to make sure she gets Elliot and Elliot only.
Haters will say it was a camera trick. 😆
That was the perfect moment to show him more affection & give him a kiss. Bensler isn't going to happen. 😂
@@kaferrat Just because it didn’t happen right then, doesn’t mean it’s never gonna happen, period. Trust me, there will be MANY more opportunities for them to kiss. Also at the same time, there’s good reason for them not to kiss now either. Elliot is still UC and he still has a cover to maintain, Secondly, he and Liv still have so much to work out and talk about before they take that step. But what is so obvious, the way Bensler were looking at each other, it’s Soooo obvious they’re in love with each other. And can’t wait to see them when they do kiss
Ellen burstyn is earning herself a Emmy nominatio with her fantastical work this season
she didnt win for requiem for a dream. dont get your hopes up. she doesnt need an award to act the way she doesl
This serie really said "Let's give them a hell of sexual tension but at the same time let's not make it happend" 😭😂
Yeah I think Elliot and stabler romance would just destroy both SVU and Organized Crime so the writers really don't want it. I mean it would kind of be disturbing law and order doesn't do that thing. It's not going to happen.
@@stjosephhighschool1 Rollins and carissi?
And change is good!
Mean that's pretty much like being a Mulder and Scully fan. LOL
@@manonschepers6026 I don't get you people's obsession with romance. Why change or fix something if nothing's wrong with the way it is? The change in this case isn't necessary.
Powerful Chemistry these two are made for each other.😇👍
When your woman says 'I need you' with all her body, mind, soul and spirit; it absolutely resonates so deeply across one's everything.
It's incredible these gifted thespians have 'served' for as long as a New York Police career.
"Hey Partner" 😍 I just love them!!
I'm loving the interaction between Elliot and his mother... Btw, I swear that Liv and Elliot were going to kiss when he was staring at her after she touched his face o_o
He was trying to figure her out. Probably asked himself “why is she touching my face when I came to her apartment for help and opened up she kicked me out.”
@@srivers1000😆
@@srivers1000 he passed out! Haha but yeah he is trying to figure her out indeed because he opened up and she is actually responding but he doesn't know if making the first move might be romantic or stupid.
@@srivers1000 she had to. He could hardly speak. Then it was about the letter...not the nicest words from a friend. Even the parallel universe / parallel universe he is exploring now like a poet.
..she is responding now, later, to his feelings. But she made sure, first, that he is not tripping in parallel purple haze and he will understand.(that she got what he said when loaded with drugs and she is responding now on the same level of feelings).
She is still on the Mummy mode. First about Eli then about Elliot himself, as protective as a lioness.
A kind of 'Hands off my budy' mode.

This episode was good from front to back. So many layers being peels back week after week. I’m with Olivia and Bernadette, Elliot needs to hurry up and finish this case and be home a little more. Eli needs therapy and El needs to be back in therapy. On another note, I really like his new home. It’s nice. Love the access to the patio garden. And Olivia is slowly letting down her guard with him and also still proving she knows him better than anyone. Wonder if she will check up on Eli on her own. So ready to watch this week’s episode. 🤗❤️💫✨
I do like the detail of Elliot's eyes going wide when his mom tells him Olivia is there like...
"You're cut!"
-_-
"By the way, Olivia is here."

Am I the only one who actually wanted to see liv dress el's cut but still this scene was perfect
Yes. It’s the little things. But the fact that she intended to do so still gave me the feels. 🤗
Benson and Stabler. The OG police duo! Miss them together
Bring them together so much chemistry and history between them, Mariska and Christopher hook them up it's been well overdue!!😊👍
@@e.erin. Hi e. erin wow I remember that show Moonlighting yes and your right it wasn't there but off screen they couldn't stand each other yes so maybe that's why and your right others I don't know them but I thank you for that take care now and thanks for bringing me down memory lane!!😊💐🙏👍
I dunno, if they hook up it would change the dynamic of their already awesome relationship.
If they were to hook up I would want it to be in the last season on the last episode
@@battlememesbyomari25 Hello Battle Memes, so you like those SVU shows and you think it wouldn't be good well now them 2 are on 2 different ones ok well nice talking to you!!😊👍
Elliots mom has to be in her 70s or 80s rn, she looks like she’s in her 60s…that’s amazing!
And the 60 year olds still look like they're in their 40s
Everytime I see them I'm like when was Olivia the other woman. Always number 1.
You gotta love that they brought Bernie back
Olivia cares deeply for Elliot and his wellbeing
I am loving OC way more than SVU at the moment.
This show is the only reason I still watch SVU. I quit watching regularly after Chris left before. I just couldn’t get into it after the left. Now that he’s back, it’s worth watching both again.
@@ruadhrose Before I started watching SVU regularly, I would catch an episode here and there. I've always thought it was a good show. Always liked Elliot & Olivia.
I started watching Chris on "Happy" and followed him with his return to SVU.
I've been catching up on past seasons ever since.
I guess better late then never for me to jump in with both series...
Watch old episodes of the show oz. he was amazing on that show. Long before svu and almost all the actors from oz ended up on svu at some point.
@@srivers1000 Didn't know he was on OZ..
Thnks for the recommendation...
@@davidratliff9084 nice
Would Elliot and Liv just kiss already?!?!?! They know they have feelings for each other; just need the act on those feelings
YOU DAMN RIGHT OLIVIA AND ELLIOT NEED TO KISS RIGHT NOW
I love the way he looks with the goatee ☺️💜
Brilliant execution of a dramatic scene. Everything. A simple, straight forward little story with different layers of deep conflict (it’s called life). Of course, the superb acting, always the main element of making a performed scene successful. And then, the lighting, the camera work, the choice of camera positions. All so brilliant as to transform a simple little scene into a “I want to cry” drama.
I love how the stakes and drama are higher in OC. It’s like a mini movie!
I love OC so much! This scene is everything!
Where’s Kathleen? Elliot could have told her to find Eli discreetly or something
I love these 2 people i don't care how they age these 2 will always be #1
I look forward to how Amaro is gonna react to them next week. I really hope it comes up with him. Friends for life, remember?
I wish those two would just get together already damn it. This partership is the reason I am a huge law and order SVU fan to this day.
Organized Crime is so good, so exciting! Sweet dramatic moments and angst is always so LOUD! This scene is absolutely amazing! Domestic Stabler and Benson 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is the best show on tv atm period..... Always a treat when I see liv and Elliot on scenes together ❤
@@junivanofdragonia Still, he was running around lose in the city without his father knowing where he was & then he found him assaulting the homeless guy
@@joewhitehead3 correct. But no laws were broken on Dicky’s end. Just on his friend and the homeless guy.
From my take. In the homeless episode, he went out of his way to protect his best friend.
I wish there was more scenes between Liv and Elliot
i might be totally wrong, but i think what led her to say that to Elliot is because if you remember earlier in the episode when they were overlooking the party and they were filling in Liv on who's who, she asked about Flutura and him working her and then he got really defensive, similarly to back when she commented on dani back in season 8 to Elliot. I think that she realized that something had happened between them (flutura and El) and is saying that to him for more for her sake. maybe im reading way into this, but when Elliot told her very about why he was working Flutura and getting really defensive, Olivia looked a little hurt.
Yep I 💯 💯💯 agree with you.. the way she was looking & asking questions about her.. Olivia knows. Honey!! it's like he was irritated a bit . Elliot demeanor towards olivia.... . I was hoping he didn't sleep with her..I Really Really think he did & that's what shocked him..
My heart went- 😮😮👌👏👏😅😢😭🤬 why couldn’t they just kisss man
He was totally staring at her lips lol. But nah, they couldn't kiss, coz Olivia could only do that if he's Elliot. 100% Elliot.
@@roseJ96 yup
I love both Law ad Orders I just wish the cast of SVU would bring back some of the past characters with Chris Meloni we'll have the show back on top!!👍
Lord knows i really wanna see them together but they can't miss a step. I want all the angst i need to hear more about the letter and i need to see Livs sessions with the shrink. They're both complicated characters so them coming together should be perfect
Chris is such a snack!
can they just kiss already
Whats all this? you working for the phone company? Ha Ha I stole them. Hilarious banter!!
elliot immediately denied there was a problem and doubted his mom but believed olivia automatically and listens to her.
She’s his emotional wife lol
Organized Crime is fantastic!!!! Can't wait for more.
Glad they brought back Ellen Burstyn as El's mom. I always wondered whay happened to her.
Elliot Stabler is a real tough guy. Real men know how to be vulnerable.
They do bring out the best in each other; A-grade professionals imbuing their characters with a truth and an authenticity that speaks to the complicated road to acceptance each characters has had with the others, pathways none of the actors have had to tread: such skills and collaborative genius, I'm in awe ❤❤
EO endgame!
Beautiful scene!!! LOVED IT ALL!!! PLEASE CONTINUE SCENES LIKE THIS!!! XOXO
*So now I'm wondering if Stabler's son is gonna take a wrong turn down the road with him stealing his grandmother's prescription drugs & Using them now.*
Not now that he’s been caught
Beautiful scene of mom and son.
What a great scene. This show is fantastic!
"You know what this is called".
"What?".
"Life".
One of my favourite scenes from the entire series.
This is the best law and order series yet.
Mama bear Benson coming for that child
I never watched TOO much of the old svu but what I did see...I saw these two...are way more than just partners and in the best possible way.
Glad he never cheated on his wife with Olivia although they have chemistry but if they were going to get together why not already
The best show on TV. Always exciting. Always moving.
Happy Birthday Mariska! I hope your day is wonderful!
Elliot is so much scarier with the bald goatee combo
So many nuggets in this scene. On another note, Stabler makes me nervous every time he goes home to his actual family. If the Albanians find out...
I'm thinking since they know they have a rat, they will start to keep a closer eye on him being the new guy... and I believe that's going to be how they find him out.
Right. I’m especially scared for Bernie and Eli. That’s why I wouldn’t mind Olivia checking in on them, even if it’s just implied and now seen.
The wisdom of the elderly.
Elliot's mom is defiantly a mother
