Hearing Phil talk about his medical issues with such certainty and positivity is really nice. As he sums it up, sometimes you just have to learn to deal with something, you only have the one life, so just do your best with what you’ve got.
I’m currently dealing with chest problems from ~Long Covid~ that have been giving me serious anxiety and panic, even though I know it’s probably just left over congestion and weakness from when I was sick (it’s been a week since I got over it). The symptoms were so hard to handle while I was sick that at one point I literally called 911 out of panic, but they gave me a (technically) clean bill of health, just Covid being Covid.
I’ll likely see a doctor sooner rather than later just to be careful, but I’m not a high risk person who usually has medical issues pertaining to my heart or lungs and I’m only 21.

I got chronic fatigue syndrome after getting covid in January of 2020 and spent about 2.5 years on the couch feeling bad for myself about it. I think it was good to spend that time mourning the things I couldn't do anymore, but now I have a wheelchair and I'm back in college and I'm kind of over it for the most part. Honestly once you make it through the "everything sucks and I'm dying" portion being chronically ill isn't really that bad. It's so strange that you talked about your dizziness right in the time that I first had an episode. I'm praying mine is acute and not chronic because it made me vomit like hell and nauseous the whole way through and I can't deal with this. Thank you for speaking about it, it surely made me feel less alone because I found it to be such a random and strange thing to have happened. Mine is vestibular vertigo, I think either a virus or headphones caused it according to my doctor.

It's so nice to hear that I'm not the only one who suffers with vestibular migraines. I've tried to explain it to people so many times and in so many different ways about how it effects my everyday life and to hear about someone else's experiences makes me feel like I'm not alone. I'm sorry you have to suffer through them, thank you so much for sharing your experiences with them. It makes me feel hopeful. (:

I'm so glad you got help for your dizziness. I have some weird medical stuff going on right now (I might have a brain tumor) and am getting an MRI soon. I'm pretty down about it. So it's great to see that you're able to cope with it and find some positives. 💜
