Cervini C-Series Grille Kit
Improve the front end of your 2018-2023 Mustang with this Cervini C-Series grille kit! These grilles not only improve the look of your Mustang but also improve the performance! Where does the front of the V shaped bracket connect to?
I was sunder the impression the lower grill is not compatible with the safe and smart package.
When you remove the shutters did you have any issues with the ac afterwards/ took mine off and ac started blowing hot air not sure if that effects that
Does the splash shield bolt up to the cervinis brackets? Or do the brackets just bolt up to the fender?
It's been awhile since I've installed this kit, but IIRC, the brackets sole purpose is to serve as supports due to the weight of the grilles. -Landan
@@latemodelrestoration thank you for the response. One more question, I only installed the lower grille, do you think I would still need the brackets? One I didn’t get all the brackets, and from what I seen they do not line up well with the splash shield .
@@vzombie You're welcome. I've never installed one or the other, only both. Did you buy the grille new or used? You should have all the brackets if you purchased new. Did you buy it from us? It could be that you contact Cervini's and see if they will sell the stuff that you need. Omitting the brackets will ultimately be up to you. My recommendation would be to run them. -Landan
This is an absurd amount of work just to install an upper and lower grill. And for the price cervini’s could have had both grill’s assembled. There has to be a downside to eliminating the shutters is it fuel mileage? A/C performance? Or less forced air induction?
Hi Andrew, the Ford Active Grille Shutters are special shutters in the grill that are opened and closed automatically to reduce aerodynamic drag while still allowing for proper cooling. If removed, you will see more drag and a possible change in cooling.

How important is the V shaped bracket and can I install the bumper without it?
We recommend installing the V bracket with the bumper. It will help with support.

@@derosam69 nah you dont have to. i didnt. But i recommend it 😂 if not the grille is flimsy on the bottom and will probably fly off if your boosted going fast speeds
Will the air Shutter give me a code if I don’t have it ?
No, it will not throw a code if you remove it.
Does disconnecting the shutter system throw a CEL?
No removing the shitter system will not trigger a check engine light.

No, we haven't seen any issues with water getting in the intake.
why is that lower grill not 100% flush?
The grille will lay completely flush once it has had time to acclimate to the bumper.
It doesn’t fit so well
The lower grille insert is wavy and I’ll fitting. Poor quality Cervini!
