You can inhibit short circuit protection on the footwell module with a proper scan tool. However you should find and repair the short circuit, because after 50 cycles it will block the shorted circuit again.
exactly. No need to replace the module. just fix and check the short circuits on the car and reset counters with tool32. And your FRM is good to go again !
My obd2 scanner says it doesn’t match the CAS AND THE FRM can this module be the cause my lights don’t work properly the flicker and the tire pressure works sometimes

No need to replace the FRM for short circuit protection. Can be reset with tool32!!
My belt broke and after replacing it my lights door locks blinkers dont work can I fix it without replacing FRM??

FRM MODULE. It's the same as Footwell module. Replace it
I have a 09 x5 4.8 and im in canada.... can you reprogram the frm with out have-in the car there with you? Where are located.
