Couldn't agree more, this shift is reminding me of film to digital where the people who refused to change find it harder and harder to thrive in this eco-system. Product photography is become more and more CGI based as clients demand more for their media (more angles, variants, animations). I plan on learning this as a sort of sea wall against the tidal wave. Thanks for sharing your thoughts mate!
I’ve just started my journey integrating cgi into my photography! It’s so exciting to mix medias to express your aesthetic further! I’m seeing it pop up slowly in my community!
As a CGI artist I'm finding it very hard to make a lot of creative choices. Almost everything in the virtual scene behaves as it does in reality so I'm looking into bettering myself in photography. It doesn't take long to learn how to do things in CGI, depending what your goals are, and coming in with a photography background will slingshot you forward.
And I just started getting into photography with Lightroom, Luminar learning. Got my first budget camera Panasonic GX85 Great... Not the video I was hoping to hear but appreciated the info nonetheless.
