World War 3 is still a major concern and should be driving your preparedness efforts even if it seems far and away at times. Things have heated up a lot.
Prepping for SHTF has been concerned with the idea of WW3 since WW2 and yet even here, in the middle of a global conflict, it can feel like it isn't a big deal. However, it certainly is and has the capacity to get out of hand at any moment. That's why I still need to remind myself and you all of the risks in order to keep the motivation up to prepare. Keep doing what you can and we'll hopefully get through this together.

At first I don’t think we’ll be affected too much but as the years progress and it gets hotter we will see what we’ve seen in the past and it’ll hit harder than it did back then

On the UA-cam going full censorship side, DIY prepper put out a video in the past few days saying that after he put out a video with a firearm in it he noticed a lot of the same stuff you have been mentioning recently from UA-cam and the algorithm. So his solution was to start a separate channel that was not monetized where he put all his firearms content so he could keep funding his channel. It's a pretty imperfect solution, but it seemed more like a necessary survival step. Hate to see you get shut down or burn out trying to fight this junk.
I saw that as well. Glad he is making that work. I am not sure I could make that transition at this point but I do have plans for a secondary channel that is not necessarily related.

A side note to one thing you had very briefly talked about.
Solar generators… they are cool but I recommend a conventional, permanently installed off grid solar PV system. The all in one units are compact and convenient but if something fails internally you could have the entire thing rendered useless. Although these solar generators are getting built with larger capacities, they are still somewhat limited. Yes,
I realize they are modular but it gets fairly expensive quickly when you upsize from the base unit. I just installed an off grid system for a customer out here in Nova Scotia. He had a Bluetti that cost $7500 or so. It’s a nice compact unit with extra battery module but it wasn’t “cutting the mustard”. We installed a “top of pole” mounted solar array, large capacity battery bank, 100A charge controller and 4400W pure sine inverter. Yes it was expensive but has way more capacity and is meeting their needs. If you live off grid, like we do, you probably should go with a fully installed system. The solar generators are cool for back up and are portable but they’re not the same thing. They both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Just thought I’d share my perspective on solar as someone who has been in the industry for 15 years and designed and installed many off-grid systems for our customers.

I fear our government more than Russia. The only way I see Russia launching nukes is if the west launches first. Russia doesn’t have to launch nukes to cripple us. Like all the rest of our enemies they have exploited the hell out of our open borders for the past 3+ years.

Being just 12-miles from a huge joint base in NJ, surviving a first-strike isn't a likely option. Plus there's no viable evacuation routes due to geography. Roaming Orcs and Morlochs might be more survivable.

Very interesting info you shared today about what's happening in your local community. My family and I live in a small town in SD (similar to yours) and our local police posted on the FB page to lock our cars and remove any visible personal objects from cars since they've seen an uptick in car break ins. Typically people in this town leave their cars running and unlocked when they go into stores since it's been safe and everyone knows everyone. Overall I still believe this community is way safer than living in any type of city but this is definitely very concerning and something to ponder if SHTF scenario happens.
Anyone else here seeing this in your small community? I'm curious if some of these crimes are a result of (ahem) a specific issue we're seeing in our country.

I wish more people would realize how close we really are to a ww3 nuclear war. My own wife doesn’t think it will happen let alone our family & friends. A lot of people are gonna die from the blasts but even more will die because of no clean water, food & self defense.
I hope it never happens but the probability of it has grown very high as of recent.

My wife was rolling her eyes at me about everything I was telling her the last 4 years.. however finally here the last couple months she is getting it.. she is starting to see what I have desperately tried to warn her about.. the indoctrination and propaganda the last couple decades has done one hell of a job on many people.. it is damn hard to shake some of them out of it.

FROM THE TITLE I THOUGHT YOU HAD TAKEN A VIAGRA BY MISTAKE., just a note in the 70's it was not uncommon for the Russian Navy to actually be peered at the Naval ship yards in Norfolk Va. I even toured one of their destroyers above decks of course
Navy JAG friend relates many-a-tale of drunken Russian sailors in U.S ports.
He even had to bail some out then do damage control to avoid an international embarrassment

Yea if you arent comfortable with that you have with your property, your location, your supplies and big ticket items, WE are definitely screwed when shtf. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in the suburbs with a woman and 3 year old girl and all I have to show for it is a large walk in hallway walk in closet stacked to the ceiling with 5 months of freeze dried food, water bricks, Butane, Iso butane, propane, 4 different types of stoves, different types of water purification methods (4 sawyer squeezes , grayl geo press with 5 extra filters, Alexapure with 6 filters), all types of sanitation supplies, antibiotics, OTC meds, and of course my $5k worth of tactical stuff ive accumulated over the years. If it goes down im in big trouble in this environment. Its going to be like the Bosnian war siege of Sarajevo over here
Look at all countrys that have faultered in the last 100 years.. how did everyday citixens navigate the troubles? How did infrustructure get effected and did it ever get completely restored ? How and where did the migration of the population historically happen ?

I feel your pain, brother! My theory is is that contemplating our predicament every day gets tedious and it's easy to be "purposely" distracted, if even for a few days. My guess is that 95%+ of folks don't want to confront this truth because it's frightening, confusing, and our minds just naturally divert to happier thoughts. It's hard to stay on course, but with guys like you and your channel giving us encouragement and inspiring us to continue the fight for another day, we can reset, reevaluate, and jump back in! So THANKS!!!

Completely understand MP, I try my best to focus at task at hand and tune out. Its hard to look at something and not snap to worse case. Its not fear least not fear like one thinks at least. I'm not trying to downplay current events, but it's interesting to see the fear and fearmongers. I'm an older guy and lived through the constant panic in the 80's that the USSR was going to nuke the US at any second. I'm not saying we shouldn't be concerned, but at the end of the day we can't do much if it's going to happen.

I'm mildly concerned about ww3... but I'm very concerned about either a major hurricane hitting my coast (Near Savanah) or a complete economic collapse (10 times worst than 08!)
That's why I prep... for the more likely scenarios!
I can say with certainty that a US "accidental launch" is close to zero. How other countries control their "special weapons" is obviously not something I know anything about and that kind of makes me nervous. If SOME ELSE has an accidental launch, the US will respond in kind and that would be... less than ideal.

From what I hear, things are far worse on the ground in Ukraine and nato countries than even the prepper community is aware of.
