i bough it 5 mins before looking at the video, the only real "upgrade" it has beside power is stuff for VR witch i don't plan on buying for another 5 years. Still, its enough power to run my 4k monitor for a long time.
+OnyxBlackSmith try to cancel the order or return it, get a refund, and get a 1070 if you want the same performance cheaper or a 1080 for better performance at a similar price
When I get my 1080, I'm going to run all my games at the lowest settings and resolutions, and limit the FPS to 30. Cause it would be fucking hilarious.
why? This is how it is supposed to be, every 18-24 months hardware performance should double at the same price and power consumption. There was a performance stall since 2011 to 2015, because we were stuck on the 28nm process node, but before 2011, every 1-2 years GPU performance would MORE than DOUBLE for the same price and power consumption. PCs area meant to be upgraded often.
Why? If you have any PC experience, you know that you don't buy the Titan X for gaming. It was never intended for gaming, it has 12 GB of VRAM intended for very fast video editing and rendering, it's not much better than the 980 Ti for gaming and people should know that.
they are idiots, im tellin all everywhere since christmass, wait for pascal, fitFET is awesome architecture, and IT COULD BE EXPECTED this much perfomance gains.
Can someone please explain to me why they were using the R9 380X for comparison instead of the 390? 1070, 970 and 380X is such a weird choice and makes no sense.
Most likely explanation? They didn't have a 390 at the time, he specifically says they didn't include a lot of amd stuff since the new amd stuff isn't out yet. IamMortui If you want to go for a budget build, AMD just announced a few new thingies for a pretty good price :) (Moving away from AMD myself because of there being 0 ddr4 motherboards for AMD cpu's :( )
Peter Gratineau Everyone who bought a 980 ti already knew that a new card will beat it especially with the die shrink. They just bought the best that was out at the time when they needed it.
I've not seen any 980Ti owners wanting to "upgrade" to a 1070.. Makes no sense whatsoever.. Only questionmark for 980Ti owners is the GTX1080.. It's 20-30% faster so might be worth it if you need that bit extra performance or simply just want the best at all times.. But smartest thing to do would probably be wait for a new Ti version.. I know I will..
I'm still blown away by the fact they compared price/perf of the *390X* instead of the 390 when the 390 has held the price/perf crown for nearly a year and no one in their right mind would recommend a 390X over a 390 when the performance difference is negligible/nearly identical and not worth the ~$100 premium.
Finally built my desktop and I have to say: Even though 4K gaming is "pretty" and cool and stuff, 1080p and 1440p STILL to this day will allow you to render everything at the HIGHEST possible settings with the HIGHEST possible framerates. For a card that only cost me 389$ (Bless you cyber monday), the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW ACX 3.0 is the BEST GFX card I've ever owned, and I have this video to thank for it
@@egg6314 Are you talking about Titan Xm's? Titan Xm's are SLIGHTLY more powerful than a 980 Ti, which, by the way, runs slower than the 1070. The ONLY thing that is actually better with the Titan in terms of longevity is the VRAM, but even then I'm not positive that it's better. It performs worse, and costs about double to get brand new, and usually costs nearly as much as a 1080 used (if you're buying on craigslist, that is) Now, the Titan Xp is a different story, slightly more powerful than the 1080 Ti. If you mean that card, then yes its better in performance, but also costs way more than a 1080 Ti, which would give you nearly the same performance. Titans are not better by any means.

3 Negatives of the 1070, 1) Yet another pointless Founder's Edition, 2) Priced a bit worse than it's predecessor and 3) has worse thermals than 970. My MSI Gaming 970 doesn't even go above 70 on load when overclocked... I thought upgrades to newer gen cards were supposed to reduced power consumption and heat.. then again this is just the terrible reference version. Bring on the MSI Gaming 1070. Hopefully it won't be ripoff priced like the 1080 verison.
+mahius19 It is because Nvidia is scared of Polaris and Vega, they rushed out these cards in the hope that people ignore the thermals and the fact that it's DX12 performance once again is shit.
You cannot claim that it's shit because it still outperforms other cards. Yes, however, it does disappoint that it's a short jump in performance and $$$. But nevertheless it's not shit
The 970 had a full 4GB, it was just 0.5GB that could only be accessed at a slower speed because of fewer crossbar resources (something like that, can't fully remember). If a new card on a new architecture still somehow has the same thing, I'd be fairly surprised.
Sure you can slap 64gb of video memory on a gpu, but if you can't effectively use it ie stuttering, fps drops, general unplayability. Then it doesn't matter if it has 3.5GB or 4GB because you effectively don't have 4GB you only have 3.5GB that you can use.
Please stop with the bs...I had a gtx 970 running at 1440p which ive been over the 3.5 and reaching at a little over 4G.B with no framedrops what so ever...Rumors say the 0.5B is a issue but my testing is different..Actually same held for the gtx660 Ti when that rumor was spreaded which ive had the gpu as well no fps drops at 1080 at the time...People need to stop with the rumors
Well, thanks to our tax rates, poverty are at an alltime low and almost every single citizen in European countries have acces to "free" healthcare. Whilst in America, millions of people live in constant poverty, and many more millions of people live in condition where they work 3 - 4 jobs and still can't afford their rent.
eBay is decent rn, shipping is an oof but if ur lucky and you find one from a nearby country then epic (for EU I use .de cuz uk non-eu slightly more expensive cringe)
the point still remains, if you going to compare it to other graphics cards, you would also compare it to the competitors answer for the previous generation, which is the 390. this smells like nvidia money....
I honestly don't give a shit about 1440p. 1080p is more than fine because I want to get the highest FPS I can possible get. Having a 144hz monitor really drives you to reach that FPS. Playing at 1440p only cuts into that.
Some folks like 1440p. Higher detail than 1080p on the same screen size, but actually playable on most games at 60fps unlike 4k. 1440p compared to 1080p is much more productive too, if you only have one screen and you actually do things besides gaming on your computer. Actually, if you have a fairly descent computer, it has an advantage over 1080p in almost every respect. But that's cool, don't drink the 1440p koolaid, to each their own.
My 980 just died (which I used for 1440p) and I had to switch back to 1080p with my gtx 750 ti. The first few days were absolutely terrible as I was so used to 1440p, the 1080p resolution just looked like garbage to me and everything was blurry and gross.
the only proper competetive games (dota cs league sc2 and a few others) don't require much GPU power to run at hundreds of fps, and yes it is important, I myself play 4-8 average hours of cs myself but in games like battlefield the experience and visuals are so much more important than having more than 60fps, although I'd never play cs on a 3440x1440 screen any other game yes, that's why I have 2 screens.
Well dang LTT, after watching your videos constantly on all the latest and greatest cards, I finally did it. I'm installing the drivers for my GTX 1070 as I type this, and I don't think I've ever been so happy with a decision on a PC component. Goodbye low settings and crappy 6870, hello ultra 1080p awesomeness
My best friend just gave me this card!!!! He just stepped up to the 1080 ti and apparently is super generous cause he charged me nothing. Talk about friendship.

I have had a Nvidia GTX 1070 founders edition for around 3 years now. And to this day it can still run the newest games on 2560x1440 on high settings, it is amazing.
When did the Fury X go clearly past the Titan X and the 980 Ti? And when did the Titan X go so much ahead of the 980 Ti? When I watch these benchmarks videos it looks like the GPU being reviewed is always presented in the best possible light and the results for other cards change constantly.
I was not bashing on AMD in anyway, but it just annoys me that how these benchmarks change from one review to another even on the same channels. I think it would be better if these channels would do rereviews where the do the benchmarks again if the GPU was clearly handicapped by the drivers. That would be much more beneficial for the consumers than just putting the numbers out as soon as possible and not testing the product again later.
+RandomFinn AMD drivers are so bad that tend to improve a lot with updates. I own an AMD card and with the driver that came with the video card was getting like 20-25 fps in War Thunder i was like wtf! O.o after the update I got 80+. Nvidia on the other hand tends to do a better job until there is a generation change and the last gen magically starts to get worse update after update...
Ivan D Yeah I have heard that AMD cards get better over time, but I didn´t know that the change was so massive. I used a HD 6950 until last year and it performed very well in 1080p
I'll try to explain: AMDs cards(since the 7000 series) is using GCN architecture which excels at computing. DX12 utilizes computing very well compared to DX11. This is why the Fury X, and also other AMD cards in the 300-series are performing better now compared to the 900 series of Nvidia, than they did 1 year ago. I kinda feel "bad" for the people who invested a lot of money into the Nvidia 900-series. The 900 series are _beasts_ at DX11 games, but since their cards cannot do computing, they are at a disadvantage vs newer gen and AMD cards in DX12 games. And pretty much every game from now on supports DX12.
Didn´t see any performance gains from DX 12 in these benchmarks for AMD or Nvidia and I have never seen any trustworthy benchmarks which would be be different. Maybe in theory DX 12 is great and will be with future games but I don´t really understand why you even brought it up. To me DX 12 looks very disappointing at the moment for both cards as it does not seem to give any fps gains.
nonickname100 Its in the name GeForce GTX Titan. the Quadro is their workstation gpu. While the titan was made as a go between, work and game. its still falls under the gaming side of Nvidia, despite all else the GeForce cards are optimised for gaming
I have one and I'm running at above 60fps in all the games I play at ultra settings. Death stranding gets 80fps at 1080p ultra and cyberpunk gets 45fps at 1080p high and we all know how demanding that is. Simply cannot beat the value if you buy one used
Depends. If 30 fps isn't an issue to you than yeah it is pretty overkill. If you care about 60 fps all the time then no. Rather get a beefy card than a card just right
Well i currently have a 270x and get like 50fps+ on High @ every game i play, CPU is a Xeon1231. Probably wait for the polaris and decide whats better for my needs and budget
What kind of different? More or less expensive? Because I expect their flagship card (The 490 or whatever it is this time) to be the same price as Nvidia's second card (1070) in this case but to be slightly better it.
I like their videos, but I disagree on the card's capabilities at 4k. The 1070 is a very capable card at 4k provided you don't get too crazy with the AA. You really don't need AA with so many pixels. I consistently get more than 30 FPS at 4k. However, I can say for certain that it won't maintain 60 FPS all the time. It is an extremely demanding resolution. He is totally right that this was the card it needed to be.
I'm getting tired of you guys pairing the gtx 970 with a r9 380 which isn't even in the same price range. A 380 cost about 170-210$ when a 970 can cost you at a minimum of 315 to 400 dollars. I don't see why you guys won't pair the 970 with a 390 which is in the same price range as a 970. You guys really are starting to become Nividia Tech tips. I appreciate the showing of the first benchmarks and performance of a 1070 but I can't stand it when you guys pair cards like the 970 and 380 which arent even in the same price range next to each other in the same graphs...
The Nvidia bias in them is too damn high, so they show lower end AMD cards to make the higher end NV cards look better. Sadly it works and people dismiss AMD as overpriced and shitty junk and only buy NV thanks to channels like LTT that are heavy Nvidia biased. The search for non biased and non sell out Tech channels continues.
OK, so they shouldn't have included the fury as it isn't in the same price range. if they had included the 390x instead, it would have made amd look even worse(using fanboy logic that is). they should have showed the 1070 and 390, in which case nvidia would look amazing. instead, in objective reality, they included cards both above and below the price threshold for both OEMs. the fury is faster than a 390. since the 1070 is faster than the fury, which is faster than the 390, who gives a shit. anyone who would be shopping a 390 would look at the trillions of benchmarks for that card and shop accordingly. this is just a video showing the 1070, not a "hey, let's have a competition with amd". the other cards where merely for reference, not a competition.
But when you're clearly comparing graphs like that it's going to be like a competition. Yes, the fury is more expensive then the 1070 but I'm pretty sure that AMD will drop it down in price pretty soon. There is a difference between comparing cards in different price ranges that perform similarly in the high end of the spectrum then comparing price ranges in comparing cards that are in different price range that perform completely different based off of the price. The 970 I'd say right now is still in the high end spectrum of gaming while the 380 is still at the at mid spec range. They basically compared a mid spec card with a high end card... Doesn't make much sense...
+INVADE OR AFK I built my pc for Christmas. Next few months were regret after pascal and stuff (Not regret in regret but thoughts like "Should I of waited?" Still I'm proud of this rig)
Too expensive, the 1070 and especially the 1080 are going to tank in price once polaris/vega/1080 ti is out Nvidia just trying to milk money as fast as possible while they can
+akiraokami But does it beat an OC'ed 980 ti which runs circles around the Titan X? Not super impressive, but we sure are seeing difference from the node change.
No it doesn't. The 1070 is at least as good as the Titan X, they're different architectures you can't just compare the specs. EVERY review shows the 1070 as being above the 980ti and right above/below the Titan X depending on the game.
***** Are you saying the Titan X should be faster than the 1070 because it's more expensive? Either way, when it comes to gaming the 1070 is as good or better.
It seems like there might be a misunderstanding or a typo. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there's no widely recognized term or technology referred to as "NIS" in the context of graphics cards or gaming. It's possible that you meant something else or there could be a new development or term that has emerged after my last update. If you have more context or information, I'd be happy to try and provide assistance based on that. Otherwise, it might be worth checking for any recent updates or new technologies in the gaming and graphics card industry.
Let me put it to you like this: you are killing your potential gain and performance by holding back and clinging to VGA. Almost everything supports at least HDMI 1.6 and it is still more cost-effective to go with HDMI, even DVI. Seriously, there is no excuse for not going with at least HDMI, which is still the standard. If you complain about a lack of a display type that is easily five years outdated, then you probably still rock a Gen3 Intel chip with 4 GB of DDR2 because modern gear is 'too expensive'.
Most of the people in this channel are under 20 anyway. It's pretty hard to comprehend sarcasm when your sensory processing in the brain hasn't fully matured yet.
GTX 780 Reference - $500 Launch Price GTX 1070 Reference - $450 Launch Price GTX 1080 Reference - $700 Launch Price (Even at fucking $1000+ in some countries) How the fuck is this justified? What is the top of the line 80's card in 2016 is (at launch) $200 more expensive than the 80's card in 2012 was when it was the top of the line card (at launch). What the fuck Nvidia?
agree with you , 1440p is the sweet spot :) also, there is no 144hz 4k screens, and no cards that can run it either. and everything is so small when you are not gaming on a 4k monitor. Nah, better fps and still gorgeous games at 1440p.
Go 1080ti for 4k... Go 1080 for 1440p. Going ti for the purpose of 1440p makes no god damn sense. Like none. You don't think the 1080 will just destroy 1440p already? Check the benchmarks.
Cloa P. nah it doesn't destroy nothing what the 980ti couldn't handle why should i go from my 780ti to a 1080 if it is just the replacement for the 980 which is just stronger than the 970 which is equivalent to my 780ti? I dont want a graphics card from every generation but i think now that I am on my 780ti that besides that can handle WQHD wonderful it won't make much sense upgrading for 700 dollars just to get the power of the 0ßß series high end card or would it? I didn't evene mention that before my 78ßti can't handle a game good in WQHD on Ultra that I play I can buy the 1080ti for 700-800 bucks which makes more sense. I am thinking about January to March 2017 if there is no other card that will destroy it.
It looks as if 1440p is the actual realistic resolution for this generation, not 4K. Perhaps maybe next generation, folks. I for one would never use more than one graphics card in my system and the 1070 seems to provide respectable framerates at a resolution of 2160x1440p. Having said that, I may not even upgrade my 1080p monitors. The games that were tested here are mainly from the previous generation or have only just hit the market in the last few months or so; it stands to reason that once newer games start to be developed and released using the features of these new GPUs, framrates will be driven down even further at 1440p.
Mohammed Khan smart guy lol great upgrade ppl said that I should get a gtx 970 but I held off :3 I was going to wait for the 1170 but I seen how it used less power then the r9 280 at 2.5x the performance

1070, 970 and 380X is such a weird choice and makes no sense.
I guess there wasn't that big of a difference in fps between the 1070 and the 390X
Just because some points the r9 390x performs better than nvidia... And nvidia likes big marketing at all.... so that's why they do what they done...

The gtx 1070 was my first gpu when i got into pc gaming. Thing's still a beast.
Mine was GF 210 XDDD , way a long time ago, after a GTX 1050 TI
Fuck, wish I would have waited before purchasing my 970
well i guess i will be getting the 1070 instead
:) Patience is key. (I know it sucks, my own pc is at the end of its lifetime, some parts fucked up because of lightning strikes.)
Going to do a ~= 5k$ ish pc build with 1080 seahawks. (thats the price with monitors, keyboard, mouse,HTC vive, gaming chair and a headset)
i guess ill be getting nothing still stuck here with a geforce 315 and amd cpu
IamMortui If you want to go for a budget build, AMD just announced a few new thingies for a pretty good price :) (Moving away from AMD myself because of there being 0 ddr4 motherboards for AMD cpu's :( )
sodanakin Nope
I am laughing at people who own a 980 ti and are crying because it got beaten by the 1070 by a few fps.
You mean you are sad because they had that much power for a whole year already and are probably waiting for a 1080 ti?
+Artūrs Kašs no because they think a few more fps in some benchmark is worth the upgrade... the 1080 ti is more interesting.
+inflatable2 You should be waiting vor Vega, it will probably crush the GTX 1080 Ti
at 6:01 why didn't you have the R9 390 above the GTX 970? After-all that's the direct competitor to the 970.
maybe drivers advantage
they don't have it
I'm still blown away by the fact they compared price/perf of the *390X* instead of the 390 when the 390 has held the price/perf crown for nearly a year and no one in their right mind would recommend a 390X over a 390 when the performance difference is negligible/nearly identical and not worth the ~$100 premium.
+TheDarkemaste because it's nvidia advert not a true review
+Martin This
Finally built my desktop and I have to say: Even though 4K gaming is "pretty" and cool and stuff, 1080p and 1440p STILL to this day will allow you to render everything at the HIGHEST possible settings with the HIGHEST possible framerates.
For a card that only cost me 389$ (Bless you cyber monday), the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW ACX 3.0 is the BEST GFX card I've ever owned, and I have this video to thank for it
That is insane. It's basically a slightly better Titan for half the price.
Kleavers no titans are way better
@@egg6314 titans are stupidly expensive and there are cheaper graphics cards that are faster than the titan

I just bought the 970 few weeks ago...
I'm crying
why. we knew about pascal coming out for months.
return it if you can
I know. I bought a 970 a few weeks before the announcement. I cried
***** you didnt have to cry,the 1070 is just double the performance of the 970 for the same price
Yeah, just sell or return it ASAP!
970 was 3.5/4
1070 will be 7/8
Mark my words!
+Elitists Yeah as far as I know its already been confirmed that its a full 8gb....
Please stop with the bs...I had a gtx 970 running at 1440p which ive been over the 3.5 and reaching at a little over 4G.B with no framedrops what so ever...Rumors say the 0.5B is a issue but my testing is different..Actually same held for the gtx660 Ti when that rumor was spreaded which ive had the gpu as well no fps drops at 1080 at the time...People need to stop with the rumors

why are you comparing to the r9 380x? It's not even AMD's equivalent to the 970... come on.
no its not a comparison, its a review of the 1070 :)
the point still remains, if you going to compare it to other graphics cards, you would also compare it to the competitors answer for the previous generation, which is the 390.
this smells like nvidia money....

1440p 144hz is so damn nice though
the only proper competetive games (dota cs league sc2 and a few others) don't require much GPU power to run at hundreds of fps, and yes it is important, I myself play 4-8 average hours of cs myself but in games like battlefield the experience and visuals are so much more important than having more than 60fps, although I'd never play cs on a 3440x1440 screen any other game yes, that's why I have 2 screens.

Am I missing something here?
"benchmarks"
This card:
A - makes me moist
B - is absolutely PERFECT for my needs
C - is in the mail on its way to my house
All in all I'm pretty fucking pumped
2:07 that background looks sooo cool
Nvidia said the 1070 will be as fast as a Titan X. Why not compare it to that to see if its true????
the titan x was in the 4k benchmarks shown. and they was pretty much the same, with the 1070 slightly more fps in a couple cases.
you have to watch the video carefully before asking for more man, but it will be great if there is a video comparing these two cards.
titan is not a gaming card so
+nonickname100 What kind of card is Titan then?

4 years later, still a good gpu for 1080p at medium - ultra setting (depend in the game)

What kind of different? More or less expensive? Because I expect their flagship card (The 490 or whatever it is this time) to be the same price as Nvidia's second card (1070) in this case but to be slightly better it.
AMD is talking about the sub $300 dollar range.

+Thwartus NeinShmidt Yeah man. I have yet to find one unbiased channel for tech on UA-cam. It's sad.

I'm still running the 1070, still holds up for 1440p even in newer games as long as you use NIS

Same, my Asus GTX 1070 still pushing the sweet 144fps
Would had liked more 1080p benchmarks for 120 and 144 hz monitors.
Having a 60 120 and 144hz monitors don't affect performance, resolution is the one that does.
Yes, I know that, I was asking for more benchmarks in 1080p.
Ignafiltro Sanchez Why do you need more, cant you just compare how other cards run on the same games?
+Sam Luckett It increases, for gamers.
***** the hz of the monitor doesnt affect performance at all, what the fuck are you on?!
No VGA support? Into the trash it goes
vga is shit anyways
Dude VGA needs to die already!! Same with DVI!
Display Port and HDMI are the future!
Its amazing how no one got that this was a joke
Most of the people in this channel are under 20 anyway. It's pretty hard to comprehend sarcasm when your sensory processing in the brain hasn't fully matured yet.
Still rocking my 1070 Strix in 2023!
Lmfao I have the same graphics card in my old pc, I mainly use a laptop with an RTX 4060 but I have my other pc right beside me
GTX 780 Reference - $500 Launch Price
GTX 1070 Reference - $450 Launch Price
GTX 1080 Reference - $700 Launch Price (Even at fucking $1000+ in some countries)
How the fuck is this justified? What is the top of the line 80's card in 2016 is (at launch) $200 more expensive than the 80's card in 2012 was when it was the top of the line card (at launch). What the fuck Nvidia?
They might as well be classified as a monopoly (not in the strictest sense) due to their ability to price gouge customers.
does that mean the 1080Ti will be 800-900 and the titan 1500? :O
you could buy more than one amd rx480s for that price.
1070 seems like it might be my next upgrade. Though I also need a car... And a job... Hmmm maybe one day
2040 I will get this 1070 then.
Why is DX12 slightly behind fps' from DX11?
4:54
DX12 is pretty new. It's still being updated and fixed. But in most games DX12 beats DX11.
cuz nvidia still doesn't fully support DX12
this. its a hardware dsign problam. amd is better at dx 12 and vulkan. have high hopes for polaris.
It's because asynchronished thing being baked in.
Noobie question, does it support 3 monitors?
If I had the money I would buy a 1080 and then buy some nice shiny 1440p screens but sadly I'm poor.
i worked 4 monts and i just bought a second hand gtx 295 and its ok for my old 4:3 monitor and my crappy computer, #poor
+Xipo86 poor side of romania :(
+Xipo86 maybe in the future, i study programing and computers engereering. Maybe after this :)
+Xipo86 i hope so :D
***** No job, medical reasons and small town with nearly 0 employment options the american dream!.
I will buy the 1080 ti for glorious 1440p gaming fuck 4k.
agree with you , 1440p is the sweet spot :) also, there is no 144hz 4k screens, and no cards that can run it either. and everything is so small when you are not gaming on a 4k monitor. Nah, better fps and still gorgeous games at 1440p.
yeah fuck a cheap 70 inch screen. i see what ya sayin .
im sorry are u stupid ? 1080 handles 1440p like a beast.
1080Ti will be exactly for 4k
*Can 1080 SLI run GTA5 in 4K 60fps?*
Of course.
No
one 1080oc can run it in 60fps
You can run it 4k 60fps with only one
kappa?
Looks like I may build me a gaming PC now the 1070 ain't to expensive and I caan run anything I want in 1080p which is honestly all I care about.
Yeaa! Even better if your monitor is 75\120hz at 1080p.
Amd Rx 480
+Thiago Martins 144hz lmao
You can do that on a 970 mate
+Maugan Ra Why go for something worse for only a small amount less? 1070 is much more worth it
Is the 1070 as valuable of a card as the 970 was when it came out? Seems like the 970's price:performance ratio was legendary for its time.
Close
ordered my 1070 today! its SO SEXY
Where did you get it at?
Same here got mine from newegg.
Newegg had them up until June 11th
thats where i got mine as well
When does the one that is $380 come out?
It looks as if 1440p is the actual realistic resolution for this generation, not 4K. Perhaps maybe next generation, folks.
I for one would never use more than one graphics card in my system and the 1070 seems to provide respectable framerates at a resolution of 2160x1440p.
Having said that, I may not even upgrade my 1080p monitors. The games that were tested here are mainly from the previous generation or have only just hit the market in the last few months or so; it stands to reason that once newer games start to be developed and released using the features of these new GPUs, framrates will be driven down even further at 1440p.
*2560x1440 :)
Me who’s gonna buy this card in 2023 7 years after the release 😂, hope it’ll perform good
i waited 2 years for this ;3 r9 280 to 1070
I actually upgraded from that exact card to a 1070
Mohammed Khan smart guy lol great upgrade ppl said that I should get a gtx 970 but I held off :3 I was going to wait for the 1170 but I seen how it used less power then the r9 280 at 2.5x the performance
Daevon Jackson I waited a year and a half. Beast of a card, 1080p @ ultra for the next 3 years to come
***** yeah i got it for 4k lol best med/high card for the next 2 years to come
Mohammed Khan same here!
