sir...this is just excellent...i've seen so many tutorials on inversions and V chords, but i've never seen anybody apply those concepts SO many times in one video AND get excited about how they sound. this is exactly the kind of instruction i wish i could've gotten when i started out, but i won't complain. i have it now!! thank you for sharing.

There were a few worship leaders who I subscribed to before I found Kevon's channel. None of them mentioned anointing, God or practiced true worship. Kevon does this regularly. I love how he worships at his keyboard. Have been binge watching him for the last few days, and he's become a firm favourite... Bless you mate.

Brother, you are teaching some great basic skills which makes huge impacts impacts on playing outcomes. I’m so glad that early on I learned the basics of music theory and built my knowledge more & more. Once you get the technical things with the theory well, branch out and see what a difference it will make. But that’s hard for someone glued to two staffs.
Learn the song. The more you play it, your brain will have engrained to memory and that’s when these inversions, adding 7ths to chords, or even when adding a 4m or 6m will be a powerful tool to you arsenal. Keep up these tutorials. They are even great reminders for a seasoned pianist who has slipped back to playing without adding powerful, effective variations of the chord structure.

Kevon, I loved this tutorial man. I was blessed by this. Been checking out your channel for the last few months and I really enjoy your playing, your humor, and your humility. You said you were going to get some software to display a mini keyboard while you are playing but you might be able to do this for free. I believe you are using the Yamaha MOX08 or MOX08XF, which both come packaged with remote control software that also displays what you are playing on a mini keyboard in the software. I have a MOX08 and I use the remote control software to control the functions of my keyboard without accessing the actual keyboard controls which are hidden under my studio workstation desk. Check it out or hit me up if you have any questions. - Will
