Spencer and Gareth lost all credibility last week. Absolutely disgusting promoting that then trying to distance themselves after the event. We all knew what it was and they’ve shown they’ll do anything for a few quid.
It's bad enough when casuals like Andy Goldstein hype up the fight but when you have ex pros like Spencer Oliver saying Tyson was going to knock him out in 3 rounds, it's truly embarrassing

Spencer and Gareth were a disgrace by trying to pretend that Tyson at 58 and who almost died few months ago was gonna win against 27 year old who has been training as a boxer for last 5 years and after the fight trying to distance themselves was a disgrace
Ye but it is cuz he looked a lot older than he did against roy jones, like he aged more in 4 years than 15 years before 2020 But then we find out about the operations and tyson almost dying AFTER the fight 🤷
Simon Jordan has balls to go against the mainstream narrative, thanks for not following the script and going with Tyson vs Fake Paul first, alot of respect from me to the few of you who goes against the agenda of the powers that be in boxing.
'I refuse to start this show with Tyson Vs Paul' - but you'll use it as the first scene and put it as the main headline on the video. TalkSport were bigging that up like it was Ali V Frazier.
Why are none of the commentators mentioning that this is very likely a scripted fixed fight. Both fighters told to get to the finish line. Corruption taking money off event ticket buyers and people who bet on outcomes that were not possible like Jake Pauk knockout. It is disgusting
Correct and they're asking the wrong question. They should be asking why Tyson even passed the medical. Why was his accuracy and his punch output 70% lower from his fight with Roy Jones? And what are the financial incentives for Tyson to lose on purpose?
Netflix should give refunds for the stream going down. Main event was terrible and cost me money. And Serrano clearly won that fight. CBS got battered unfortunately.
@westerling8436 Still had to pay for Netflix, I got it specifically for the Taylor/Serrano fight and at quarter to 4 when everyone logged on, I missed the second half of that fight and the entire main event.
CBS was never overrated, he shocked everyone when he kept winning at his level. Even by his own admission, he was the other guy in the McGuigan gym and his appeal was the underdog who kept winning. The division is appalling standard
Spencer said 'If Tyson can summon just 5% of what he was, we're in for an amazing fight'. After, he completely changed his tune like he hadn't been talking Tyson up to win easily.
Should never of been licensed as a professional fight; due to Tyson’s medical condition, the gloves, the round lengths, the age gap, the amount of inactivity since his last fight, and then the fact that people bet on pro fights - based on them trying to knock each other out! The whole thing was nothing more than awfully matched exhibition.

In 1996 Vs Holyfield, Tyson would of beaten every other Heavyweight except for Holyfield and Lewis. However he'd dropped a level as an elite level Heavyweight. By the time the Lewis fight came around he had a bit left but you knew he wasn't the same Mike Tyson. By the time Danny Williams came around he was gone as a competitive HW. I wasn't shocked at all. When you've seen the faded careers of Jones jr, Ray Leonard, Ali getting beaten on you know how this game works. People watch Tyson on the pads for 30 seconds and forget he's nearly 60 years old. In the words of Bruce Lee......boards don't hit back, or pads in this case.
@@Vkjhnfswlsf he never beat a single world class heavyweight who was in their prime, not saying he couldn’t have done but he never actually got the opportunity.

Talksport: tyson/paul fight - forget years ago and McBride, at that time his heart wasn't in it anymore and he didn't want to box anymore 'his own words' - this fight with paul was different, he wasn't doing it for money, he wanted to challenge himself. He even said after when asked what he'd learnt from the fight "I learnt I was tougher than I thought". I think he may have felt a bit unwell in dressing room, but it was too late to let everyone down. His son interviewed him in dressing room and he said he was fine, he didn't want to tell his son. I noticed he stumbled once on ringwalk. He didn't have that look on his face that he had in press conferences/weigh in. How come he had no problem with his legs in his media workout - he looked strong, and did anyone notice his legs at weigh in - they looked as strong as an oxe. He does not walk with a stick, neither does he use a wheelchair to get around - I don't get it - it doesn't add up. Something happened in dressing room is my guess! He was also Ngannou's mentor with some training advice, that got him to drop Fury and went on to win his first boxing match. Please send in Ngannou for Jake!
Has anyone seen the 54 year old Mike, go 8,2 min rounds with Roy jr? That's why there's people out there thinking he had a chance, he looked pretty good for all 8 and that Mike would've made Jake seriously work.
@larrysellers7891 ye it was an exhibition to be fair, but still he looked good for 16 years out or so at the time. Both threw alot more punches then in the paul fight. Those 4 years in your 50s is a lot I suppose. Re watch it again, the difference is mad.
I was watching Mike Tyson training videos up to the actual fight and he was badass and an animal. And when he came out in the ring it was nothing like the training videos. He looked fragile and scared. We were all duped.
Speak for yourself. Mike was finished 30 years ago when he was quitting on his stool to journemen. Anyone can be made to look good in a youtube clip. Paul was favourite with the bookies so there were some folk who knew what was coming.
Fury himself has said if he wins against Uysk he wants a third fight with Uysk before possibly fighting AJ next. I agree with Spencer on this one if Fury loses then possible for the Fury VS AJ fight happening however after AJ has a his fight with someone beforehand. If AJ has intentions of becoming a 3 x world champion he has a very long road back. Should of ROLL THE DICE as he says and taken the Dubois rematch. I know they have talked about injury niggles he may have but he has missed a golden opportunity not rematching Dubois.
CBS's fast start worked against him....he found it too easy at the start and probably lost focus on a gameplan where he wouldnt have expected to be hitting Zurdo so easily and cleanly early. Without a doubt CBS could beat Ramirez, its not beyond him. He just got it wrong on the night, although he showed real bravery and heart. Opetaia will do a number on Ramirez, no doubt about that.
the way Gareth and Spencer were hyping up Tyson is a disgrace it makes me wonder do they have any idea on what they are talking about? They need replacing asap
I suspect that tyson knew in the build up to this how little he had left. I mean did they even SPAR for 8 two minute rounds to see if Mike could do it? Because if they had, they would know Mike would have to throw next to nothing to last the distance and that’s exactly what we saw. Also the look on Mikes face on the way to the ring told a story- a story of having to pay the piper and you haven’t got enough to do it and you KNOW you haven’t. It’s just a reality for those of us over 50 that you CANNOT train as hard as a youngster in their 20’s- you just can’t. AGE has an UNDEFEATED RECORD.
Whoever tried to make that Tyson fight sound like it was going to be anything other than what we witnessed the other night should never be allowed to share an opinion on boxing publicly again including this guy
It was a sanctioned bout and tens of millions of dollars were bet on the fight around the world. Those who put money on the fight would have done so believing it to be a genuine fight. it was all ‘scripted’ there should be a full investigation and all involved in the ‘fix’ (if that’s what it was) should be banned from the sport for life. Follow the money, because someone made a lot more than just the prize purse, if they knew the fix was in.
Simon is a bit punchy on his predictions. Not just saying it in hindsight but I looked at Zurdo's superior punch picking and more free flowing boxing style and could see that would give him an advantage. As much as I love CBS and wanted him to win I knew his straight up hittable stance with limited head movement would give Zurdo loads of chances to counter all night and I was right. The only factor we didn't know was how Zurdo would cope with the strength of a strong tough natural cruiserweight but after round 2 that was put to bed.
And the Taylor one there was never a headbutt, boxers standardly come in like that, Dubious does it all the time, it's the best way to hide your chin as you come in, plus of course there is a risk to both that a cut may happen, as there is from punches, but many male boxers have done that all fight, Tyson did it and Spencer knows that, it was a very impressive fight all the same, both going at it hammer and tongs, it was unfair for either to lose
I've not seen the Tyson fight, but seeing how ppl have broken down some moments from it shows it was completely scripted. It's not a fight, Logan Paul is not a fighter. Boxing is now officially in the gutter.

I hope after this we will all know not to be fooled by fake fights that include older fighters. I’ve nothing against old champions making money, but let’s have old v old, not old v young.
The match was rigged. Tyson trained like a beast for months. You cannot tell me that after 2 - two minute rounds Tyson was so tired he couldn’t lift his gloves. Malarkey!! No wonder Tyson was biting on his gloves, he was so frustrated that he wasn’t allowed to know Jake Paul out. NOTHING will convince me otherwise. I believe Jake Paul paid Tyson off to throw the fight. Tyson trained like a beast; not to mention, there were several opportunities he had to thump Jake Paul. Fight was rigged. Age has nothing to do with the outcome. Two days before the fight we see Tyson at the top of his game. Then walking into the fight, he “acts” differently. No way! Any commentator who truly knows Tyson knows he did not box.
That night Was all about Taylor and Serrano, best fight I think I’ve ever seen One thing I will give Jake Paul credit for is getting them two girls a pay day that they deserve
Spence and Gareth were a disgrace trying to convince people this was anything other than watching a youtuber punch a 58 year old legend for 16 minutes. expect it from Gareth but not spence
You should give Jake Paul a little break, NObody forced the 58 year old Mike Tyson to box and he got 20 Bloody millions for the trouble of selling himself out. Jake Paul is a revolution and does a LOT of good for the martial artists, always speaks volumes about the unfair distribution of match revenue between boxers and organizers -AND pays very WELL to the boxes at their own galas!
Mike Tyson was baited into committing the largest sports fraud in history by an individual fined by the securities and exchange commission for pump and dumping Bitcoin Jake Paul, who is also hated by the large majority of people who know of his existence. Tyson has seven children and likely is facing civil lawsuits for assaults against women 20 years ago in New York.
Tyson could hardly walk/get into the ring! Was this the outworkings of the recent health issues? Amazing how little he could do in the ring, regardless of the age differential.
Paul vs Tyson the ring walk alone was sad too watch, surely this was more dangerous than two 27 year olds having a fight and one of them doping, boxing is a mess money talks shame on the clowns that allowed this too happen, Canelo put an end too this nonsense.

That night Was all about Taylor and Serrano, best fight I think I’ve ever seen
One thing I will give Jake Paul credit for is getting them two girls a pay day that they deserve
Spence and Gareth were a disgrace trying to convince people this was anything other than watching a youtuber punch a 58 year old legend for 16 minutes. expect it from Gareth but not spence
Skip the Vag Talk and the show is good, as always :)
Tyson has seven children and likely is facing civil lawsuits for assaults against women 20 years ago in New York.
well said simon on that hideous circus
Should have hedged my bets on Quarden Token 😂😂
These guys will always hype up the British fighter and then predict him to win. Is it any wonder their predictions are always so poor?
Spencer ‘yeah but what I’m saying is’ Spencer
How could joshua fight the champion coming off a loss?
AJ would need to beat Parker
Ok eyes down and lock in for Spencer Oliver cliche bingo
Tyson could hardly walk/get into the ring! Was this the outworkings of the recent health issues? Amazing how little he could do in the ring, regardless of the age differential.
Paul vs Tyson the ring walk alone was sad too watch, surely this was more dangerous than two 27 year olds having a fight and one of them doping, boxing is a mess money talks shame on the clowns that allowed this too happen, Canelo put an end too this nonsense.
AGE has an unbeaten record…..
will the public who bet on the fight get Refunds ,,as it was fixed
Tyson got 20 million for a spar ,good business if you ask me
