How much will be the refresh elevation x31 cost
X31 with the GM 2inch Lift Kit makes your truck an AT4 from a suspension standpoint. The 2 inch GM kit you can buy from the dealer are the same exact parts installed at the factory. Thats what I did after exhausting efforts to find a 2022 AT4 with the 3.0 Duramax. I bought the SLT with the X31 had had the dealer install the kit. I did get a box full of the de-installed suspension parts so I essentially paid for some parts twice but I got what I wanted. I actually like the look of the SLT better than the AT4. The SLT is the old school look with lots of chrome. I like that better.

I want this truck. I’d get it with the weird ass tailgate door, center console, and rear sliding window. I’d just install leather seats to add the final touch

The elevation used to be the equivalent to the Silverado custom. It was a base truck, but not anymore. I guess it’s equal to the rst

As always, great review Ben! I recently had the chance to check out the Sierra AT4. The sales guy said the Elevation was essentially the base model Sierra. Don’t know about that. Although the Ram 1500 Laramie is my top choice of 1/2 ton trucks, more and more I’m liking the Sierra. So many reviewers complain about the ‘outdated’ interior. I’m like, it’s a truck, get a grip! Lol
If I’m going to pay that much for a truck it should have decent interior. Gm compared to ram and now ford is straight trash
That certainly used to be the case. I have a 2018. This version is night and day from the model I have. I'm sure it has all the available options however.
I test drove Ram and it felt cheap same as a GM ( was 100% going to buy a Ram til I drove it)...sure it had bigger screen but still looked and felt cheap....Rams don't age well and tons of issues with 12" screen, resale is horrible...I prefer physical buttons so at least it will function when electronics go hay wire and they will.....your right it is a truck and I only need it to do so much.....mechanical, price, reliability, resale, and obviously looks....

You have to use Premium Fuel in the 6.2......correct?
Why do some of these trucks have a button to roll all windows down and some not, I don’t see a specific option for it. On elevation models.
I had that option on 19 RST and 20 HD and loved it, my 21 elevation doesn't have it and it's a weird option where some get it and some don't but you can't select it when building a truck
......idk what determines which trucks get it and don't but I did like that feature in last 2 trucks
I just got a Fully black elevation which has tow side mirrors so it looks like a beast
I payed 80k (CAD) with literally all options

I have a 2020 elevation. I put a lift wheels and tires on it. Along with a slew of other things. But I put red tow hooks on it..... people tell me it’s the nicest AT4 they have ever seen. 😂

@@yorkizetv5206 I would look at the options. I have a 2020 Elevation and it didn't come with many options on this truck he just showed. I personally don't like SLTs because of the Chrome. The Elevations look better but the SLTs have neat little extra options. Mine was $50k.

@@yorkizetv5206 I wanted to order one but was told it would be a minimum of 4 MONTHS to get. I found one real close to what I wanted. I am missing the Pro trailering option. I don't get the camera views or the bigger lighted mirrors. The bigger mirrors are actually a blind spot and I'm glad I didn't get them. I still would've liked the extra camera views. I also wish I had auto dim mirror and memory seats. I am disappointed that you can't get a 10 way passenger front seat at this trim level. Not a fan of the black out look but it's growing on me. I didn't want the tailgate with speakers. I cannot imagine having a 4x4 without low range. Once upon a time it was that way but trucks were geared low and not the luxury ride they are now. Back a heavy trailer thru soft ground up a hill using low range and you still have a transmission when you're done. Hope you get yours in good time.

Can you get the Elevation with the 6.2? I thought it was only up to 5.3
believe you can get 6.2 in almost any trim aside from base models
Nope. But you can on the sierra SLT, AT4 and Denali.
If I was going to get a full size this is the truck I would get.
I have this exact truck except mine is Satin Steel Metallic and I have the 3.0 I6 Duramax w/10 speed. Average about 22-23mpg city in the winter with winter blend and about 25mpg in the summer. Best was a 270 mile round trip, 40 miles was dirt roads, averaged 29mpg. tank of DEF lasts about an oil change unless you're towing a lot.
BTW, the Elevation is not the entry level. Its above the base and SLE trims making it the middle trim. Above the Elevation is the SLT, AT4, and then Denali.
That silver around the dash is actually metal and not plastic which I thought was pretty cool.
I test drove 3 RAMs before buying the GMC. RAM does have a more sophisticated design but GM focuses on functionality rather than aesthetics and I enjoy the more relaxed design as well as a real shifter. Nothing but issues with the infotainment system that was in my 2019 jeep I traded in and didn't want to risk the same issues on another new vehicle.
Any issues with your Duramax? Ordered an elevation 3.0. will be my first diesel.
@@kevinsingh832 at about 1k miles, I had a check engine light, it got a software update at the dealer and I've never had a problem since. I've owned it for 18 months and 13k miles now.

No it does not but you can level one out for $300 and not effect the ride.

Wish they would of went with black or carbon fiber or somthing sporty looking then the luxery vibe wood accents in the interior

You have to research b4 you buy my friend....bucket seats are options not standard on elevation or even a SLT....
Bought mine in Feb b4 prices went cray cray....53k sticker got it for 49k OTD (CA TTL incl)....no way I would get that today

I have multi pro tailgate X31 pkg...its standard if you go on build and price for GMC.....got mine in Feb ( thank god).....right now it's full msrp or more.....I paid same price 48k OTD

Nice looking exterior but the interior is very bland. I think the Ram 1500 looks so much more luxurious.
RAM focuses on interior appeal, GM focuses on powertrain. I drove both and bought this exact truck in Satin Steel Metallic. There's a reason the ecodiesel is on its 4th generation in 6 years.
I was getting this truck but I decide to get the gmc AT4 instead looks better.

fuel economy is not that different from the 5.3 to the 6.2. The big difference is the 6.2 requires premium which about 50 cents more per gallon then regular.

The best buying experiences I've ever had, have been Chevy/GMC. Most reliable vehicles I've had too. I've owned Ford, Jeep, volkswagen, Hyundai.
Best service has been through my local chevy dealer too. Sounds like you had a shitty dealer.
