The Pac-12 had 3 schools in the top 20 defensively. 5 in the top 50. The ACC had the exact same amount in the top 50. Only 2 in the top 20 and they barely ranked higher than the third Pac-12 team who was Utah that suffered two blowouts due to their injuries. Hate to break it to ya, the Pac-12 played defense. It's a nice little narrative but it's just that.

The real tell about Uaglelele is that his "high completion rate" is for passes less than 9, contrasted by a dismal rate for anything over. His size made him look like a dangerous power running mobile QB, but his runs are short, he is made of glass, and his decision making ability is at best sub par. And he is uncoachable.
I don’t like FSU and I think they are crybabies, but it’s a long season. To hang onto 1 game in week zero, especially not a blowout; is silly. Lots of football to be played.

The problem was Mike norvell. This idiot rushed the ball on their final drive like 10 times and got tops 8 yards on those rushes combined. But every time they threw it was successful. Ate 9 minute of clock and gave Georgia tech a guaranteed win since we saw how much bigger their line was. They ran it down their nose and beat up that fau dline. This is 80% norvell being too arrogant in the 4th quarter and 20% the offense.

I don’t think they are frauds. GT has a decent coach who worked under Nick Saban. The man knows how to develop his players and has Seniors on his squad. GT earned it, FS did not lose it. Both teams in my opinion played hard and deserved the win, GT was due though. No turnovers from both teams.

The winners of the Power 4 Conference Championship games will get an AUTOMATIC BID and a BYE. So, if Florida State wins the ACC Championship game, they will 100%, automatically get into the playoffs AND receive a first round bye. This will happen even if "something insane" happens.
The way I understand it, it’s the 5 highest ranked conference champions. For example, if 2 g5 teams like Boise State, Liberty, or Tulane go undefeated in separate conferences while fsu wins the acc with 3 losses, they might both be higher ranked then fsu, causing fsu to miss the playoffs.
It would be extremely improbable, but would be something insane nonetheless.

“SEC Bias” 😂 statistics aren’t bias, the SEC puts more players in the NFL than big 10 and ACC. Now that Oklahoma and Texas are in the SEC those numbers will grow exponentially.
I'm not a Fsu fan but be careful how you judge a team. Just because they lost the first game against GT. Doesn't mean the team is going to suck it's only one game. They have plenty of time to get better it's a long season.

He didn’t have elite receivers, and he made them a dangerous team. They could’ve easily finished 10-2 again but the competition was elite week in and week out, and their defense wasn’t nearly as stout at 2022. I’m not a huge DJ U fan, but the loss in Ireland wasn’t on him. Three drops that should’ve been receptions dropped him from above 75% to 70%, not “horrible” at all! The defense needed a stop, he doesn’t play defense. The D line lost that game.

As a Huskies fan, I watched him at Oregon State and he has good moments but still had inconsistencies. Hot one minute, lost the next. His a good QB but FSU has been a dual QB program for a while now, he should have gone for a program that suits his style and maybe less attention. Also the O line needs to be questioned, DJ is not their only problem.

Typically take a ACC team record and subtract 2/3 games and that is there SEC corresponding team. FSU 12-0 - # = 9-3. LSU 8-4. FSU beat LSU. That is how it works. Its not bias its reality

Not a FSU or GT fan, but playing on a neutral field 5 hours ahead of your home campus time zone would definitely be an "equalizer" regardless of "ranking." This should've been an exposition game that didn't count against either school's regular season record. That or it should've been played in Week 5 or later once both teams were in their regular season "rhythm." But of course the NCAA couldn't pass up a quick buck which they don't feel they owe the talent on the gridiron a single penny of, so here we are. Yay football!

Take away the 2 long field goals and trick 2 point conversion & it’s 8 points less. Had to convert 4th down plays to stay in the game.
