COMPASS Colloquium 26-Aug-2024: 7. Martin von Randow

COMPASS Research Centre's 18th annual Research Colloquium was hosted by Statistics New Zealand at 8 Willis Street, Wellington, on Monday 26 August 2024. This was a presentation on COMPASS's history of survey research, by Martin von Randow. Alongside our large scale work with administrative data, we have a long history of data collection, as well as a focus on the preservation of survey data. From medical care surveys long predating COMPASS, and the inception of the New Zealand Social Science Data Service in 2007, we have gone on to run the New Zealand Election Study and the International Social Survey Programme for New Zealand, as well as a number of smaller surveys with community collaborators.
