i LOVE natacha! she was the first "fitness influencer" who really changed my mindset about fitness (back when everyone was doing those questionable viral quarantine workouts (side eye lol)) + you've really taught me a lot about programming + fitness this year so this was so fun to watch!
I’ve always liked Natacha’s attitude and approach. Her workouts are kind of intimidating for me, but in an aspirational way not a give up and do nothing kind of way. Hope you’re feeling better!!
You actually don’t seem cranky at all though lol. I love that you kinda matched Natacha’s outfit in this one too.💕 Great video! Even though you were ill, it’s neat to see that you adapted the workout for how you’re feeling to still get the point of it in while not running yourself into the ground (…too much😅)
you’re a trooper but also? you owe us nothing. just remember that. and natacha is the freaking best. she is so likable, too. love her spirit. feel better, you!
Found you a week ago and binged loads of videos. Finally decided to contact my local gym to see if I can join their functional 101 class. I blame you 😂
I am loving this series. I don't think you need to apologize for anything! I'm hoping you take a day... OR "cheated" and do a restorative yoga with Adrienne tomorrow and doing the workout you pulled for when you feel better.
Natacha is a tough pull when you don’t feel well! I wish you’d gotten the stretching pick now instead of before. but take the time you need to do what you need, we’re still here hanging out and enjoying you and what you do!
Love this series! Sorry you're not feeling well, hope you get better soon! You could try one of Pam's recovery day stretches. She's got a lot of stretches on her channel. Just a suggestion since you totally don't need to push yourself just for us :)
The thumbnail really got me for a second. But glad You enjoyed and I hope by the time you're reading this, you free better. I know I'm late, but Pamela has recently updated more streach and movility kind of workout, so I hope You ended up with one of those and not a crazy cardio day lol
Please don't feel pressure to do this videos If you feel to sick to do It, we love you Justina we will understand. Lots of love and feel better soon. Does anybody else actually feel better doing mild workout when they are a little under the Weather? I mean like a walk or streching sessions?
Would it work with your plans to separate the less intense workouts into another bowl, to draw from on days when a break is needed? Thanks for being such a trooper, am personally hoping that you take some days off till you feel much better.
I’ve tried her workouts before (when I didn’t follow a plan) and they’re fun. She has great ideas, keeps you motivated and excited to workout. I completely understand how you feel, in Oct I was sick too and didn’t go to the gym for 2 days, the peak was during my rest days (the cold synced with my schedule 😂). Amazing you got to sleep and rest, sometimes a cold is a blessing in disguise. Tell me more about your sleep, do you normally have a good sleep and how do you wind down in the evening? I hope you feel better (here’s me with a virtual mint, lemon, honey, ginger tea and soup!
I actually made an “evening routine” video last year! But I typically sleep 6-8 hours and have a very easy time falling asleep (unlike my husband lol). And thank you for the well wishes ❤️
i love these series!!❤ i’m hoping you can also review these: - nourish move love - chris & edi - vera laro - keilgh cohen strength - growingananas - fitbymik - olivia lawson - fitness kay kay
You didn’t seem grumpy at all! Maybe you could take a rest day and talk about the importance of rest days? Cause I’d love to know more about them and why they’re important cause I feel like there was a trend there for a bit of doing some sort of working movement every day ie *active rest days* are those actually a thing or not even helpful?
Definitely want to second the others - don't be afraid to take a day or two or week off if you need it - vlogmas is not an obligation and we will be just as thrilled with 14 days or whatever works for your body. It's so hard to practice what we tell others, but don't forget to listen to yourself when it comes to rest!!
Is it possible to build muscle when working at a warehouse 4 days a week, 10 hour days where I constantly walk, climb stairs and lift heavy objects? I’ve plateaued and idk what else could be because I’m getting sleep, resting on my days off, drinking water and eating in a surplus.
It is! But remember that the body adapts to the same stress over time. So if you're doing the same thing every day, your body is going to get really good and efficient at doing that. Meaning, over time it will stop adapting.
@@JustinaErcole oops I wasn’t specific enough. I’ve lifted weights about 3 days a week for a year, but I haven’t noticed any muscle growth the past few months and I’m wondering if it’s possible that working at a warehouse is hindering my muscle growth .
It's really hard to say, but that wouldn't be my first thought. I would make sure you're phasing your workouts and your nutrition is supporting your growth goals! @@ZinniaGulden
I'm really hoping you're feeling A LOT better by now! If you chose to stop for a few days, nobody here would have hold it against you, trust me! I think I read a random comment of yours a few days ago...you should be leaving for an actual vacation soon, right? Well, that's going to be one of the most well-deserved vacation in history! You're almost there, you can do it! Thanks for the effort you put into this review despite everything! I tried a few of Natacha's workouts, but they're just not for me. She is definitely a very experienced trainer, though! Don't know anything about Pamela, so very curious about tomorrow! Wishing a super speed recovery to your past-self!❤
Well done again! I absolutely loved the comment about stupid exercise combos. The squat to bicep curl is EXACTLY why I can’t stand Autumn and stopped using Beachbody(besides fhe complete lack of conversational space and endless droning)- biggest muscle to smallest? Deadlift might be even worse. PS - the and8 from yesterday and your Disney one were the combo I did last December…
1. You definitely weren't cranky...you know we seen you cranky before 😅😂 2. I loved what you said about how if you can make a claim about why this is important to you in your daily life, then its functional.
Well done for managing to get this out while feeling unwell 👍 I’ve not heard of Pamela Reif but by your reaction I’m guessing she’s like Tracey Anderson’s mean sister?😂
If you need to be therapeutic and go off script I’ll just throw ideas out (Esther) Ekart Yoga whose site is merging with another online yoga school, numerous instructors from Pilates Anytime, Isa Welly, Jessica Valiant, Jessica Smith, Hasfit or Bryan Syuki to do something lower key or even therapeutic vs straight fitness for the body to recover. Or just take the day off and chat, show us a day in the life of self care, or no filming just resting! 😊
Hi, it's me again with my science Please rest. Whether or not it is SARS-CoV-2. There is a lot of science supporting that exercise while sick leads to poorer outcomes and possibly chronic issues. I personally support people who were previously healthy and are now house bound/bedbound and struggle to eat after an infection. And have known young healthy people who started exercising too quickly after an infection and went into cardiac arrest. It can happen to everyone. I would hate for you to develop health complications because you didn't rest up enough. We call it radical rest. (To be clear, it can happen even if you rest enough. The risk is simply higher if you don't rest enough)
Okay, first: thank so much for showing up for us even when you're feeling bad! I have the same sounding bug over here in Hawaii. Second: I am sooo stoked you did a Natacha Oceane review! I just finished week 8 of her Cut 2022 program and I love it. You and Natacha are by far my favorite fitness UA-cam channels and I think the two of you collaborating or podcasting would be the most amaaaazing. Feel better soon!
I ABSOLUTELY wouldn't mind for you to take a day or two off from this. I've bee hoping you get a recovery/yoga workout since the Shaun T day!
thanks friend :)

Yep!
You are so sweet, Justina! Please take some days off. You need it. You do not need to be here every day if you do not feel your best ❤. Take care!
Thank you!
You really don’t seem cranky at all, I would be soooooo whiny lol. This workout looks great I’ll have to check it out!!
