- I'm excited to share my first purchase from Bottega Veneta. In this video, I'll reveal the latest addition to my collection, which has taken almost a year to get to this point (considering other styles and getting sidetracked by other bag purchases). I'll discuss general information about the Teen Jodie, mod shots, what fits inside, various ways to wear it, overall first impressions, while also giving some additional commentary on the Celine Romy, Celine Heloise, and Small Fendigraphy bag and why I ultimately chose the Teen Jodie. I have it in the same color and I love it!!!!!! It does work as a shoulder bag for me 😍 it’s buttery soft and so comfy!!! The small one is another staple❤
I have a feeling my collection will have a Small at some point, but so far I’m just head over heels with the Teen 🖤✨
I have the small size in caramel and it gets softer the more I use it.

i ended up getting the heloise after going back and forth on the jodie. i often times see the jodie on sale (even the black ones) so i opted to wait until the next sale period. the jodie looks cute on you.

I have been on the Bottega train this past year in as I went interstate shopping and had every intention of adding another Celine with no real interest in BV at the time but I went into a store and I just fell in love instantly and have now added a few more bags with the teen Jodie to be one of the next on my list 😍

@@simply_her_perspective I am thank you 😊 Well I now have a mini Jodie, Sardine and a M Andiamo and honestly I love all 3 so much that I want them in other sizes and colours 🫣😂 However I would like to see what some of the other styles are like such as the Hop, Tosca and the new Lauren 1980 as they have all caught my attention but I’m thinking something “different” a bit of a unique design maybe 🤔 I do love the twists that they do on these styles😊
Great choice! I have the small in Fondant & LOVE it! I went back & forth between the black and fondant and chose fondant in the end as I have enough black bags! And just like you I debated the Celine large romy, but it was significantly heavier than the BV Jodie imo and stuck out from the body more than I liked. Enjoy your new bag!
The fondant color is GORGEOUS. I was going back and forth on that as well, but really had my heart set on the black; that just means I'm keeping my options open if I decide to get a Small 😜
@@simply_her_perspective EXACTLY 😁! Maybe I'll have to look at the teen next time I'm in store. I actually dismissed it without trying it on. Small just worked. With that said, my Jodie journey has been a long time coming. Because they are hand-made, I realized over time that each one is slightly different in how it fits on me and my shoulder (I've tried on ALOT of them over the last two years until I stumbled on the perfect new one more recently).
Is the teen Jodie a trend or classic bag

I have the small and the teen and neither is a bad choice. I always put my stuff in a bag if I’m considering buying it. It makes such a difference. I bought the goyard boheme only after seeing it with my stuff in it and I avoided purchasing the Loewe flamenco clutch once I put my stuff in it. The aesthetics of the bag changes when you see it as you would carry it.
That’s so true and such a good point! Maybe that’s why I haven’t purchased the flamenco clutch…I always like how it looks (and the variety of colors are so fun) but something always holds me back. Good to know about the Small Bottega 😀✨
