The Sounds Like a Melody is one of the best songs from Alphaville, but you not only refreshed it (with full respect to the original song), but you managed to fix the ONLY issue with the original song. You made the spun up part in the end much longer! (By the way, Alphaville also does this live :) ). Well done, this is how it should be done, and the video just puts the cherry on the cake.
Loved Erasure since I was a baby. This version.... Just perfect!! Even the track length, what ever happened to making music that takes you to another place for more than 3 minutes? I'm loving the range of sounds and the energy it adds to the already energetic original.
I always listen to this classic and nostalgic music, it takes me back to the golden age of 92 and the songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s will not be overcome even after decades of time, classic old music remains alive and played today for me the best romantic songs and with lyrics and melody sound, which the instrumental matched the voice of true singer composers, which marked and lives on in the memories of those who lived through the magical and nostalgic era, I always like listening to old International songs.
You are right! Those years, when we were 15 (I was born in 1982), we could not suppose that all this music somewhen will be considered as classical. But that is the fact now.
I went to W-festival In Belgium. What I was missing is a dj who understands 80's music. Why is dj Moreno not playing at this festival? You should be main act !
