- ^_^ I translated 1000 Meere... mostly by myself! hurrah for me! Though I had a little bit of help from an exchange student at school last year, who is now my friend =P

The German lyrics are so much stronger. I think a lot of people are missing out (just knowing the english) and not finding the original! Very strong... Again.. I like the german lyrics better than the english... the more I learn.. the more I like..

I agree. German sounds harsh at times, but when people sing in it, it sounds much softer and prettier. I prefer the direct translation to the english. Except for the line "the sun is frozen the world has lost it's light". This is also my fav vid by them. It even beats out 'Spring Nicht'!!!

lol! I don't speak a whole lot of German... but I can understand most of it. I will admit that I had to ask my friend to help me with one or two lines =P I WISH I could speak it, but I can't think fast enough!!! But understanding it is just as nice ^-^ Maybe when I go to Germany next year, I'll be able to pick up the speaking part of the language lol

lol no, I know... I was just trying to come up with an explanation ;) I've never seen him play correctly and yes, I've seen him mess up lol along with his brother ._. I just couldn't come up with any other explanation even though it's quite obvious that Bill can't play... he even admitted that he couldn't play worth crap when they did shows without Gustav or Georg when they were younger lol

I know that Bill can play a little bit of piano O.o but I'm not sure... the piano part isn't really that hard to play so... maybe Bill did a recording before hand? lol
Queen Lucy, I don't mean to contradict you, but have you ever seen Bill actually PLAY piano in interviews and the such??? He only knows One song, and he always messes it up whenever he plays it.
lol well, of course the translated is different from the actual English song because the boys had to make they lyrics so that they rhymed and fit better =P but I think that the translated version is prettier, yaknow?

I think that I like ALL of the German songs better than the English... and I think it's just stupid when you mention Übers Ende der Welt or something like that D: the new fans/followers look at you like O.o as if you were crazy >.> I had that happen to me at The Roxy concert in Hollywood back in February T_T people sang the chorus of Scream cuz that's all they knew, so I screamed "schrei" at them and then they looked at me as if I was crazy >.> how lame lol

well... the german version of this song (obviously this one) is only better because it just sounds better; it's prettier and it's the original. And yes... the lead singer is a guy. Although very feminine looking, he's the most adorable looking thing that most girls my age have seen. He's almost too perfect lol
lol if you wanna call it playing, then yes =P he can... but he's very bad at it and only knows one or two songs ._.
