Just as a tip that I learned while doing this, don’t use a lightening to usb-c cable. The phone will not go in dfu mode. You must use a lightening to normal usb cable. If you have a Mac with only usb-c, a normal lighting cable going into a usb to usb-c adapter worked for me. Hope this helps someone, because I know I struggled for awhile until I figured this out haha

I have tried using Big Sur (no iTunes option) and High Sierra (refuses to install ipsw file for the iPad, had to do this step using windows and switched back to mac while the iPad was still in DFU mode) and I have tried both the 6.0 and the 6.2 version of the Sliver program. My Ipad 4 IOS 10.3.3) is in DFU mode but nothing works. With 6.2 it claims that there needs to be files installed using the terminal but when following the instructions for it, nothing happens. Is there any other program recommended to try and bypass.
