I’m glad to see a competitive Ford engine in Pro Mod. I especially like those SC2 heads. I don’t know how many passes are on the engine, but making 3000 hp with a longer stroke and short skirt pistons, I would expect some of the skirt coating to be worn off.
That’s a great engine “laboratory”. Sure as hell beats a 60 watt drop light under a shade tree 🏁.
We find with boost and or methanol the rvk (Valley depth of the cross hatch) of the hone needs to be mutch deaper, that always helps the skirts live longer.

Just a tip... put the silicone on one thing or the other (either oil pan or pan rails on block), use a thin layer of oil on the other surface, this will help the silicone from sticking so bad, and make it easier to pull parts apart for disassembly.
