After getting a really good job and sitting in a higher position, still she was stuck to the same word that you have to achieve more. I turned 32 and she told me accept your Singapore job, you can marry later. Haha, thanks to my nick jonas to rescue me and I finally got married before I turned 33. So my mom wanted me to marry my career not a real man for sure🤣

Very nice, because in India, boys are taught to study hard and earn nicely or else nobody will feed them, but only a few families teach their daughters the same, rest all girls are taught to work hard but learn household chores "warna sasural m saans bolegi maa ne kuch nahi sikhaya" and many girls who don't study properly are said "achese padhai karo warna shaadi karwa denge tumhari"

He had that fat 1.6 lakhs per month salary n good looks (with educational qualification lower than me).. but everyday after coming home back from job I faced- jaa kitchen mein.. ask your mom there must be something to do... Go n make food..See you've to learn all these.. practice .. u can be better.. life is tough..why do you want to colour your hair? come I'll paint your hair with Asian paints.. Don't be close to your guy friends.. You can get ready for parties but don't do over make up.. n when I asked him - what does this over make up mean to you?- He said- Lipstick.. Don't wear that... Wear light coloured clothes..He said I looked like a decorated x'mas in one of my pics.. just coz I was wearing a beautiful green saree n lipstick with big jhumkaas!!!...

This generation has produced many men who would actually believe in marriage being a union of equals. But the problem is...we are not completely evolved. We are in a state of metamorphosis. On the one hand..we believe in women's freedom, right to equal education and pay, right to individual social life (not partying with ONLY hubby) ..etc. But on the other hand, we are influenced by the older generation's concept that wife needs to stay in her limits. Like, if a wife is partying with her friends till late...men sometimes feel insecure, even though they were cool with it initially. Because of the fear that society will think he is inadequate as a man, which is why he can't keep his wife with him into late hours.
Maybe the next generation will be more evolved.

The sad thing is that some of the dialogues are still existent in real life and were spoken to me. In one instance ladle ki maa asked me Do you wanna work after finishing your studies?? I said "Yes.. " She was like but don't work in call centre I will not allow it. I kept quiet and just nodded my head, but the weird thing was that was the first meeting but parents were alone and boy did not even bother to come. He was like "Mummy Papa aap jaa kar Pehle product dekh ke aao agar aacha hua toh mein bhi dekh loonga. And they never responded back. What I don't understand is that why that bitch told me not to work in call centre when clearly she had no intentions of making me her daughter in law. The thing is I never thought about working in call centre . But even if I did, it was truly up to me, what right she had to advise me on that thing?? Another incident was similar to the dialogue " We are progressive, you can work but be home by 6 p.m. " One set of parents said I can wear Jeans pants but not skirts and shorts and leggings. Because they are modern enough to only allow Jeans Pants. Bas!" Abhi recently jab mein ek prospective match se mili toh uski Maa aur uske ladle ka pehla sawal tha "Khana bana leti ho na??" I'm like "Haan saab aur saath mein jaadu ,poocha, bartan bhi kar leti hai aur chutti bhi nahi legi, lifetime ke liye free ki naukrani toh bolo kab se aao kaam pe??"
