With the car at chest height(brakes & suspension job etc), the base on either side will be in the way where you want to stand, and I dont think you can reverse onto the lift as the heavy end has to be over the base. It is still a very good concept and been a portable lift it still has its market.

2 things. 1. FINALLY someone grows a brain and puts a locking system on the swing arms. No more cars falling off because the swing arm moves! 2. Make it portable enough to tow behind a normal vehicle and you have yourself a customer!

This is a great lift, I've seen the thing up-close and the quality is superb. The big, big drawback of this lift is that the vehicle is raised in an "arc" motion. So you can't simply lift a vehicle off an engine, for example when doing an engine-out service on a Ferrari or similar. For that job you need a lift that just goes straight up and down.
