Not that it matters in this particular movie but I've only recently started watching these Nigerian movies, I get somewhat confused when a person is a brother or sister and then throughout the movie he or she's now a cousin. Make it make sense. USA 🇺🇸 Loved the movie❤
@@patriciabrewer2875so in African culture especially Nigerian culture we don’t have a name for cousins, so people from the same blood line no matter how far removed you can called a sister or brother. Your great grand aunt is called aunt so long it’s the same blood lineage it doesn’t matter how far remove. Imagine calling a total stranger aunty or uncle not because you’re related to him or her just because he or she is older than you. Cannot call anyone by their name even if they are only one year older. It’s a non written rule and culture that everyone abide by but sound weird to people outside Nigeria. Your cousin can be your brother or sister.
