While attending my CPC courses in 2018, the trainer believed that supermarkets will go exclusively online within 10 years (the cost of building and operating a large store is far too expensive). Supermarkets are constantly looking to cut costs and as he said "it will only take one and the rest will follow" Personally, I think covid may well have accelerated that process and in the next five years you will see smaller "supermarkets" selling fresh food only with everything else sold exclusively online. When I was last in Germany (Bremen, 2017) they were opening fresh food only shops where you purchased a canvas bag and all the produce was loose in large creates.
What is better multi drops or for instance Hastings to Manchester as a example drop off at destination and pick up at destination to return back with, rather an empty load, sorry for the nube question
Hi David, thanks for your question! It really depends what you want to do. You'll likely make more if you have your own van and can do a backload back home (you can bid for contracts on sites like The Courier Exchange). But, it depends on what vehicle you have and the type of work you want to do. - Angela
