I had to kara cancel the Vortex because I didn't have enough meter to do only the Tyrant Rave. At 2:43 I'm pretty sure I could have killed off of the j.D starter. I just messed up my routing and dropped the combo.
How tf do you kara cancel a vortex into a tyrant rave???? I have 350hours and didn't even know that was a thing. A guide would be much appreciated please
@@theHMCenthusiastIt’s actually pretty easy, all you have to do is add an S input before the normal Tyrant Rave input. So instead of 632146H, do 632146S~H. Try and tap the H input 1 frame later than the S input.
@@theHMCenthusiast No, it IS vortex. 6S doesn’t build any meter on startup like Vortex does. If you try and do the 643216S~H input mid combo, you’ll get a 6S kara because you can’t cancel a normal into Vortex. If you do it raw, like after a wallstick HVV in the video, you’ll cancel the startup of Vortex into Tyrant Rave. You’ll know you did it right if you set your Tension gauge to exactly 50%. If you have extra meter after your super then you kara cancelled Vortex to build a little extra Tension.

All I can say is to do it as fast and as cleanly as possible.
