However the Slayer's personal one from Eternal is one of a kind, and the Argenta clearly used his knowledge or reverse engineered his gun to make many more. Plenty of official art shows knight sentinels other than Doomguy armed with double barreled shotguns (including the Marauder)
The MEATHOOK attachment gives lower recoil for the efficiency of the weapon and at the same time is a torture device. I am curious how this MEATHOOK work inside of the firearm. Is there a mechanism of some sort that act as a launcher and retractor at the same time?l So by seeing what is a 2bore firearm,having two triggers for each barrel,i am guessing(just guessing)that the SLAYER created a twin headed V shaped firing pin for th e first trigger and the other one he binded it to a mechanism controlling the MEATHOOK launcher,thus creating "LUCIFER'S BANE. MIDNIGHT can you go all into LUCIFER'S BANE mechanism and how you think the MEATHOOK is launched and retracted? That's a idea for a follow up video.
I think that a real answer to this question is that if they're killed outside of hell then they just go back to hell, but if they're killed in hell they are sent to the void and die forever.
I'm currently playing through episode 1 of the BTSX mod for Ultimate Doom, and let me tell you after you get the backpack and super shotgun, you are nearly unstoppable. You can rampage through hordes of hell knights, mancubi, cacodemons and imps with only one weapon. Rip and Tear, until it is done.
I feel like the SS is comprised of the same otherworldly sentinel metals that make up the preator suit. Furthermore if the suit can be enchanted to be indestructible, I'd assume the SS can too.
The super shotgun is like the dragon slayer from berserk. It bathed in so much demon blood it kills creatures beyond it’s considered holy or unholy, or something. Along those lines
I actually never really used the super shotgun in eternal, the meathook seems pretty useful but im a huge fan of the sticky bombs so the combat shotgun was way more useful for me. In terms of burst damage, i rather use the ballista and/or arbalest. Arbalest is my marauder strategy too, charge up the arbalest and let him charge, then he eats two arbalest shots per window, after 5 hes done.
I think that the filigree carvings on the barrels are an Argenta incantation that rendered the common steel of this shotgun so much more durable, virtually immune to the fires of Hell. That's why the demons hid it away rather than destroyed it, because they tried and failed. Also, I like that the Slayer's symbol is branded right into the boar snout, ensuring that the Mark Of The Beast is the last thing that many demons will see.
The sting of the Slayer's abominable arsenal casts fear into the lowest of our kin. Its blazing barrels of brimstone spew his vitriol and loathing upon us, and cast our brethren to the dirt. Even Vega addresses that its his SSG. Also I thin the the slayer taught the Sentinels about guns and grenades. They have always relied on energy based swords and shields. The availability of energy must have hindered the Sentinels ability to look for alternative sources and rely on simple energy based research and weapons
IMO the super shotgun is indestructible because DOOM SLAYER is the indestructible avatar of demon slaying and it's an extension of his will, part of him since his apotheosis within the Divinity machine. It's not unlike Saint Michael the Archangel and his flaming sword, and this is also why it inspires such terror and hatred in demons.
Seeing as how the super shotgun shells look way bigger than 12 gauge shells they are probably closer to 8 guage which can be about twice the size of a 12 gauge.
Mauro Timmer Dusk is another first person shooter similar to doom. Its very fun. It has sort of a playstation 1 look to it. Also you can do stuff like front flip and hold 2 shotguns at once because its awesome like that.

Super Shotgun is in my opinion Doomguy /Doom Slayer most favorite weapon that the demons and the devil would fear along with the other terrifying monsters in mythology and fiction would be terrifying when they get super shogun shells to the face even it was giving the most badass name called Lucifer’s Bane. Yeah, the one from 2016 is just some other double barrel shotgun used by the UAC, but it certainly can make short work of demons. Maybe the UAC realised how effective the double barrel shotgun was on demons, so they tried employing it by themselves and probably succeeded to a certain extent. But they definitely could not use it as proficiently as the slayer

I'm currently playing through episode 1 of the BTSX mod for Ultimate Doom, and let me tell you after you get the backpack and super shotgun, you are nearly unstoppable. You can rampage through hordes of hell knights, mancubi, cacodemons and imps with only one weapon.

I feel like the SS is comprised of the same otherworldly sentinel metals that make up the preator suit. Furthermore if the suit can be enchanted to be indestructible, I'd assume the SS can too.

The super shotgun is like the dragon slayer from berserk. It bathed in so much demon blood it kills creatures beyond it’s considered holy or unholy, or something. Along those lines
I actually never really used the super shotgun in eternal, the meathook seems pretty useful but im a huge fan of the sticky bombs so the combat shotgun was way more useful for me. In terms of burst damage, i rather use the ballista and/or arbalest. Arbalest is my marauder strategy too, charge up the arbalest and let him charge, then he eats two arbalest shots per window, after 5 hes done.

Even Vega addresses that its his SSG. Also I thin the the slayer taught the Sentinels about guns and grenades. They have always relied on energy based swords and shields. The availability of energy must have hindered the Sentinels ability to look for alternative sources and rely on simple energy based research and weapons

IMO the super shotgun is indestructible because DOOM SLAYER is the indestructible avatar of demon slaying and it's an extension of his will, part of him since his apotheosis within the Divinity machine. It's not unlike Saint Michael the Archangel and his flaming sword, and this is also why it inspires such terror and hatred in demons.
Seeing as how the super shotgun shells look way bigger than 12 gauge shells they are probably closer to 8 guage which can be about twice the size of a 12 gauge.

Mauro Timmer Dusk is another first person shooter similar to doom. Its very fun. It has sort of a playstation 1 look to it. Also you can do stuff like front flip and hold 2 shotguns at once because its awesome like that.

Super Shotgun is in my opinion Doomguy /Doom Slayer most favorite weapon that the demons and the devil would fear along with the other terrifying monsters in mythology and fiction would be terrifying when they get super shogun shells to the face even it was giving the most badass name called Lucifer’s Bane. I see the Super Shotgun being the holy sword of the spirit to fight against the forces of darkness that I wanted to wielded in my spiritual warfare along with the Praetor Suit and the other weapons that would make the gods, monsters and the devil himself worry of me. “This is my boomstick!”

I believe the super shotgun from doom 2016 isn't the slayer's orignal super shotgun (the one with the meat hook)
Yeah, the one from 2016 is just some other double barrel shotgun used by the UAC, but it certainly can make short work of demons. Maybe the UAC realised how effective the double barrel shotgun was on demons, so they tried employing it by themselves and probably succeeded to a certain extent. But they definitely could not use it as proficiently as the slayer
